I just restarted my gym journey after taking a few years off due to life stuff, and a friend recommended me your channel. This is gonna be a HUGE help for me getting back into the swing of things, and I'm glad you included the alternatives to normal pull-ups, because I'm more than just a little bit overweight right now, and my shoulders would leave the chat if i tried to do a normal pullup. Thanks for doing what you do!

I've been missing these in-depth workout sessions, I would start warming up watching you guys workout by the end I was ready to get BUFF. It kept me motivated knowing I needed to be ready for the next session. This will be my next workout routine for sure! I’m exited. Currently running UL 6x/week (with the right amount of volume for me atm) but with moving and traveling and trying to figure out what I want to do and where I want to live soon, I think this is the right program to run. I’ll probably add tricep and side delt isolation, along with abs and a corrective (like a Superman) Loving your vids

You should deal with the knee pain by going to see a PT or doctor before you start a routine like this, just IMHO. Stretching doesn't help knee pain if you have an impingement or arthritis.

Hey guys thank you so much for this plan, bought it & I’m excited to finally get in shape! My question is i’m not even able to get into a deep squat on my own, I fall backwards, so should I use no weight or very little weight to start and maybe only 1-2 sets instead of 5? this would apply to all other exercises right? is this plan also doable with only 20lb dumbbells to start? It’s all I have before investing in a home gym! Also should I not even worry about nutrition for the first month and just eat normally before cracking down hard and counting calories and macros? thanks a million, you guys have taught me a lot and been a huge inspiration throughout the years!

Now I’m not Arnold but I finally can see results I wasted so much time and energy doing 5 day bro splits wasting so much $ on supplements. I use whey isolate and Creatine monohydrate that’s it. I get 6-8 hrs of sleep and eat about 3000 calories a day and I have to say this works. I used to be afraid of barbells because I was so weak and I thought lifting an empty bar would make me look like bit@h so I bought a half rack, barbell plates and bench and started in my room with an empty bar and for the first time in my life I actually feel like I can lift weights properly!!!

Super informative video! I’d just say that on a t-bar row, putting a bar in a corner in a public gym is not a good idea. I got scolded for doing that a few times. Also, if you’re strong, it’s dangerous. The end of the bar can swing up when you’re at the bottom of a rep. So if you don’t have a landmine I’d replace the t-bars with a different exercise. Maybe dumbell rows.

Guys, great videos. I ordered the pdf version and I’m ready to get back to lifting. (Little bit of a layoff) quick question, I have a home gym that includes a smith machine. I have a curl bar, and additional barbel. My question is about upright rows. I’ve done these in the past with a curling bar and I don’t have dumbbells. Can I use the bicep curl bar as a substitute to dumbbells? Thanks for the videos. I’ve watched a few. Like the Landmine videos. Thanks, mark.

Interesting. I'm restarting again (hopefully) after not being consistent for quite a long time. The last few weeks, I've found that night time workouts seem to work for me. I usually go with just the bar for warm-ups, Romanian deadlift instead of deadlifts, don't think I agree with row position you had and I power clean weight before I do the overhead press... But that's just me. All good.

Sometimes a good hint if you tell them to keep neck/head at same angle as spine (looking at the ground like 3m in front of them). It naturally makes you break at the hips firsts, stops them over extending their neck at the top of the rep too. Doesn't help with side to side balance tho.

I had a girlfriend with the same fear. I told her that the girls that look "bulky" had to put WORK into achieving that. That didn't start working out and then wake up one morning to find themselves all jacked. Also, there's tons of videos of women before/after starting lifting that can help alleviate concerns.

Old school cutting plan: high volume training (10-30+ sets per body part per week) and high protein/high fat diet low on carbs (about 0-100 gr. carb per day from fruits and vegg). Muscle building: Low volume but high intensity training, Dorian Yates HIT and High Carb/moderate protein, low fats diet. Apply consistency for 4-6 months and there you go, no steroids required, no complicated training/dieting protocols needed!
