This was absolutely the greatest slow roll in televised poker history. It had everything - the entire table was in on it. It was the Mouth. Deeb's timing was superb. Excellent camera work and editing, with the split screen too. Gavin "pop him" Smith. The whole table erupting in laughter was outrageous. Simply the best.

I like Matusow, and I think he's a better player than most people give him credit for... when he's right. He's had his share of problems, and I sort of feel sorry for him when he's not right. But he's been in the game too long to be that upset by a slow roll. It's part of the game. Besides, it didn't have to be quads. Deeb could have been sitting on something like 5-6 suited or even A-5 and that would have been enough to take down that pot. I wouldn't blame Deeb for slow-rolling trips a little, either. I sure wouldn't have telegraphed 5-6 in that situation.

@@Pokernight Not sure how that would affect anything. You count off 3 cards onto the table face down. Then you pick up those three cards and spread them faceup in the MIDDLE of the table. What I see the dealers doing is spreading them in front of themselves, then pushing each card into the center of the table. Same with turn and river. Turn card over next to the board, not in front of dealer then push next to board. Even the video had a little graphic pointing this out.

It's poker. It's gambling. There is no requirement to bet on any given hand. If you don't bet, and wait for the guy holding 2 pair to go all in and he does, you win more. That's the objective of the game.
