Thank You, I use Warm lemon Water ( whole lemon ground in blender) an hour before I make - Chia and ground Flaxseeds, with cinnamon and pure honey in oatmeal daily, it has been a very productive weight loss program . Great list of weight loss, spices and herbs- grateful for your listings.

Paulette Sharpshair Hi I’d like to try your weight loss idea. I’m a bit worried about the whole lemon though as Im type 2 diabetic and have Ulcerative Colitis (ok at moment) How much Chia & Flaxseed & Cinnamon do you use each day in your oats. I call porridge in UK lol. Thankyou............Maddy

Maddy Clark The Whole Lemon Water would actually be beneficial to you, it could actually help you resolve your Diabetes 2 and ulcerative colitis, because Lemon has great benefits for cleansing and alkalizing your system , which improves your digestive system. Improving your insulin resistance could reverse your Diabetes issues and heal your ulcerative colitis. To answer your question: I use a bowl that is 2 cups- 500 ml ( Corelleware which is an unchippable type of glass), 4 Teaspoons Of chia seeds, 1 Tablespoon of ground flaxseed, 1/4 tsp cinnamon ( Ceylon) with 1 Tablespoon Of pure honey ( the healing properties and vitamins in honey plus the mixture with cinnamon can actually assist the reversal of Diabetes) to mix with cinnamon . I put a cup of organic old fashioned oats in bowl- pour boiled water over mixture and stir to prevent chia seeds from clumping - be sure to pour 1 1/2 cups of water, then allow to sit to swell the oats , between stirring for chia seeds to not clump. The point of so much water , to help the mixture to be activated in the digestive system ( chia seeds need to be immersed in a lot of water to prevent clumping , which allows the gel to formulate on the chia seeds to assist your digestion system) . To understand about chia seeds - put a spoonful of seeds in your tea cup and fill your cup with water, stir occasionally then observe the consistency of the gel and seeds( save this mixture for your next bowl of porridge). Another thing that I do , that was not mentioned is- I make a cup of Turmeric / curcumin tea to help eliminate the inflammation in my system ( inflammation is a cause of insulin resistance, which promotes Diabetes and ulcerative colitis). I use : 1000 mg of Turmeric with 100 mg of ginger powder, a pinch of Ground Black pepper ( piperine needed to activate curcumin), I also use 1 Tablespoon of Coconut oil( organic, Unrefined, Cold Pressed , nonGMO, extra Virgin) to carry this mixture through the digestive system safely( without these added ingredients to Turmeric tea , would make it a waste of time because the ingredients activate the benefits of Curcumin, which is the root of Turmeric) . You can either use boiled water or almond milk ( as long as you are not allergic to almonds) for the tea. I use the tea in the morning with my oatmeal( porridge), and in the evening before bed ( this is when I use the almond milk to relax my nervous system, for a more restful sleep- activation of melatonin). You must realize that with the damage of your system for such a long time, that it will take a good 3 months to see real results to your body and your system. You will start feeling it in a much less time , improving your health aspects- 1 month to 6 weeks is the Awareness of transitioning yourself into a healthier, happier YOU. I am excited you are interested in doing this. You can also use chia seeds and ground Flaxseed to sprinkle in your salads and soups . I have a glass jar with chia seeds and water ( to activate the gel in the seeds and to prevent clumping - refrigerate) , to use in my soups or to just take a spoon on days I do not eat porridge. Check out the video on the benefits of Lemon Water as well as Chia seeds and Flaxseeds. Love and Blessings to you and for you. 💜♥️❤️💋😘💋
