Most people really do not realise there is a splitting axe on Celica's Route. If memory serves it is in the corner in the desert outpost war room and blends in, but if you know it is there it is even easier than visiting Ram village with Celica.

Yep apparently it's in Grieth's citadel, must have missed it! Sorry guys. Even still, now you have another peddler use for transferring over forges or blessed weapons!

I feel the need to point out that it actually doesn't cost even one gold mark to upgrade a Steel Bow into a Killer Bow. Max-forging the Killer Bow is a different story, but frankly Killer Bows are pretty great even if they haven't been upgraded at all. On my first playthrough I didn't really devote much thought to how to use my peddlers, but in my second playthrough I put an emphasis on completing sidequests. So in Act 1, Alm DIDN'T collect the Splitting Axe from Ram Village, the Iron Lance from the Southern Outpost, or the Steel Lance from Zofia Castle; all those were collected by Celica in Act 2 instead. In Act 3, Celica can pick up a guaranteed second Steel Lance and Iron Lance, so Alm's Act 3 peddler sent over a spare Steel Lance so Celica could finish Alessio's BS fetch quest easily; in return, Celica's Act 3 peddler sent over the Rion Shield so Alm could finish Lord Rion's fetch quest (and subsequently the cheese lover's quest). In Act 4, though, the only item I needed to send was Alm's Gossamer Hair so Celica could finish her outstanding Zofia Harbor quests. So most of my Act 4 peddlers were spent on trading equipment and Exotic Spices around; notably, I sent the Ladyblade and a max-forged Blessed Sword to Alm. The Ladyblade is just something I really like for Delthea to use, but the Blessed Sword was because I intended to try out using all of the Archanean Regalia on this playthrough, and I reasoned that Alm would have more opportunities to use it in the last legs of the game. I'm not sure what I'll do for future playthroughs, but I'm pretty happy with my sidequest setup as well as with Ladyblade Delthea, so I think I'll probably keep those four swaps reserved and use the other four however.

In Celica's Route, there will be a guy that you can sell Steel Lances to for a decent amount of money, however you wont find many Steel Lances in Celica's route, but they are plentiful in Alm's Route. If you wait till end-game to sell to that guy he'll basically say there's no point anymore, so you may want to consider sending Steel Lances from Alm to Celica.

I know it's been a few months, but I just wanted to mention that it's super important for Alm to send steel lances to Celica for Alessio's sub quest. If you don't, you'll have to grind for lances from terrors, which are a pain to farm. And Alessio's quest cannot be completed in the post-game, like many others. I just finished my hard run after all these months and I missed that sub quest because I thought I could do it post-game :(

This is something I just realized the importance of myself this past weekend trying to catch up in Echoes. Definitely agreed. At some point I want to remake this video with some changes for sure, as the steel lances are definitely a pain and a half. Sorry about that!

On my most recent playthrough, I used the peddler on Alm’s routes to send Leon a Blessed Bow and Valbar the Hexlock Shield. Valbar tanks magic much better now and Leon is amazing at killing terrors. On Celica’s route, I managed to get 3 Dragon Scales while Alm only had one, so I sent those 3 over and got a Dracoshield soon after I recruited Zeke.

Celica can pick up a Splitting axe on her Route to Without going back to Ram Village There are two Splitting Axes in the Game One on Alm Route in Ram Village And a Second on Celicas Route but i don't know were i get this Axe but i know i have completed the Lumberjack "Quest" and Alm has still one Axe in his Convoy

Echoes Good video! I plan to finish the Rion shield quest and send the blessed lance and exotic spices to Celica's army. One side quests requires steel lances before the Last Bastion. I might send those over if I decide to not use the dlc to get steel lances on Celica's army. Also, a sub quest guide would help a lot.

Full subquest guide please! I recently finished the game and definitely didn't do them all the first time through. Especially since going back with fully leveled characters to, for example, kill 20 zombies in the graveyard on the island is.. less than fun. And the rewards might be useless by then. Definitely wanna start another campaign and do them all on the way instead :D

There kinda was with the Brave Sword having Killer-like stats, and Echoes added the Killer Bow, so it's only Lances that don't have a killer-type weapon in Echoes.

Hey Stevie, I feel like they could have just substituted the red traveling peddler for Anna, but still keep their mechanic, that way the fans are happy, but the game remains unchanged. u dont mention about dragon hair, quest item for celicca that can only be obtain by alm and should be send to her. steel lance can also be considered best item from alm to transfer (Celicca need 5 of it in a quest and thats too much for her) exept u wanna farming it in Cheating-dungeon-DLC and ruin ur experience. and also Celicca can have her own splitting axe in desert stronghold without rely on alm or visiting ram village so it will save you time and 1 peddler to use, that being said that this guide is not good enough, dont follow it guys

True, but by then you'll have missed out on a lot of the use of having forged weapons in general. They'll still be great for the post-game dungeon, but running through such a large chunk without them will definitely be more challenging. Maybe that's a good thing, I don't know.
