A lot of highlights in this one, but I laughed the hardest at Mike trying to remember the setup to the innocuous “Moby Pickle” joke (28:11) and making it increasingly filthy in his mind! Now days, a killer turkey gimmick in a movie would be played purely for "look how wacky we are" laughs, like the Thankskilling "movies." But in 1971, a killer turkey man was expected to be taken at face value and played for serious scares, even if it was in grindhouses on 42nd Street or in drive-ins in Georgia. Like, the Sleazoid Express would have had a whole article on why the turkey man bucks bland Hollywood convention, or Joe Bob at the Drive-In would tell you to check it out. Does this mean we collectively lost something as a culture? Probably not.

We are in the era of enlightenment and ironic enjoyment. It doesn't matter. You can like movies however you want. Ironic, or sincerely. It doesn't really matter as long as you're enjoying your time. Also, I think that earnest concept ("...the turkey man bucks bland Hollywood convention"), and the fact that they don't seem to realize how absurd it is is what makes a bad movie fun to watch more times than not. Next to, I guess, film maker narcissism.

While waiting for my mom to be done, none other than Mike walks in and pours himself a cup of complimentary wine that was in the office, I had one too. Rich demanded I repeat what I said to him so Mike can I hear. I did and visibly amused, me and Mike clinked wine glasses. I had this dream less than 6 hours ago.

The director/star of 'Blood Freak' ended up living with a bunch of tigers in Loxahatchee FL. When his favorite one, "Bo Bo" escaped in 2012, the FL wildlife cops killed him, and soon after the others were relocated to a wildlife preserve. A thousand people showed up for a candle-light vigil for Bo Bo and the Florida game wardens received death threats and tons of angry emails. He apparently never got over the loss of his pet and moved to be closer to his other big cats.

I had to try four different therapists before I found one that I actually click with. From what I hear, a long search for the right professional help is a pretty common thing, but completely worth the effort. Best of luck to you!

You know, those damned kids these days... they order all their Pokemans and Urkel-Os or whatever crap they are into now off of Amazon. They've never been to a real shop where the grumpy owner threatens to kick you out if you don't buy something within three minutes and your only choice is between either whatever is in the 5 dollar bin or the "featured" merchandise that has been sitting in the window for half a year until the only colors left on its packaging are blue and yellow. Ungrateful little whippersnappers... /s

This makes me think of highschool. Me and my friends would all rent the worst possible movie. The winner didn't pay the next week. 92ish the glory days of the mom and pop video store. Also a small town in the mountains of Colorado. So not much else to do. Bob's video so many good memories. And the blood of heroes is an awesome movie. Rutger, Vincent, Joan Chen. One hundred stones, three times.

Jay was close with Jackie Chan, even though they show a clip from a completely unrelated movie, as the answer. In Police Story 2, Jackie Chan does a two footed jump kick into a man that shoves him into a car window that breaks around him. Really cool stunt to be honest. That film ( and it's predecessor ) are full of great, OUCH stunt moments. Great fun !
