what about lumbar support in Vergo icon chair. is it plastic or sponge used for lumbar. will it be spiking, digging the backbone. or will it be softer for spine. Please give your honest opinion that lumbar support. Because i have that problem with my current chair. Iam thinking buying this Vergo icon chair.

@@thelastultron it's not perfect, but it is 'pretty good'. It's kind lf a hard foam covered with pleather, though the curve of the backrest doesn't let it dig into your spine much. Different people will find it differently comfortable, but for me, it's a 7.5/10, which is pretty decent.

Interestingly enough, I have all 3 chairs. Icon is best, stylux is not bad, Liberate has a really weird lumbar support mechanism (that dynaflex thing) that makes it the worst.

Hello, Good Day! Could you help me compare the Vergo Icon, Vergo Core, Vergo Aura, and Vergo Ease High Back? They all seem quite similar in terms of features, except that the Icon includes a seat slider. I’m hesitant to spend ₹17k on the Icon unless it’s the best option. I’m 6 feet tall, and proper lumbar support that doesn’t poke my back is crucial for me. Could you please advise which one would be the most suitable choice? Dont want to go for any other options coz virgo provides a return policy if we dont like the chair unlike all other brands online

I have tried all 4 chairs, Icon is really the best and worth it IMO. Aura and Ease are decent too, but don't have the ergonomics of Icon. Other than the Icon, I think Aura was the best.

Can you recommend any chair below 10k or a max of 12k. Saw a lot of mesh chairs but not sure how well they work when it comes to lumbar support, since good lumbar support is one of my top priorities. I generally use a chair for at least 10 hrs/day. Thought of green soul jupiter pro or the sleep company plus chair, but not sure if they will be good choice for long term usage

Yeah Green Soul Zodiac Pro is great. I have tested the Vergo Transform which is basically the same chair. (Zodiac Pro also has a Seat slider version).

Sihoo does look quite good for the price. Not sure about after sales, not familiar with the brand. They seem to be based in China (which is good, they're not rebranding or selling same chairs as others) but India service is something you'll have to search in the reviews about. In most cases, you will not need to deal with customer service, once you get the chair in a good condition.

Icon is best. Cosmos shoulders are too upright. Aura is good too at a lower price, but not as good as Icon.

Also need to know that what’s the seat depth difference between the two as I am about 6 feet so under thigh support could be different between the two. Both are good at their price. Vergo Transform has a depth of 19 inches, which is sufficient for most people up to 5'10-5-11. Zodiac Pro with seat slider may give you more under thigh support with its sliding mechanism (but check if the version you're buying has the seat slider.)

@@DTDBGMI-pw4ed leaning mechanism can't be locked in most chairs, you can make the mechanism very tight, but can't disable it in most chairs. Not sure why you'd want to do that either. The chairs don't go back when backrest is locked, unless you really want them to.

Great video as always. Can you confirm if the seat dimensions of the two chairs are the same? And if under thigh support is good with the seat fully slid out? I'm one of those biologically weird people with disproportionately long femurs (6'1"). I desperately need a sufficiently large seat size in an ergonomic chair such as this to sit even with folded legs (gaming chairs have large seats, but poor ergonomics and the body hugging bucket seats are irritating after a while).

Thanks. The seat dimensions are almost the same, with Vergo being like 1 cm longer, and Ergosmart being less than 1 cm wider. With the backrest all the way back, the seat digs into my calves a little, so for a regular 6'1" person, this may work well, but not 100% sure about your specific case. I dont think you'll be able to sit with both legs folded in any of these chairs, or even other office chairs I've tried.

@@neerav7201 1. Transform is best value. 2. Jupiter is in a lower segment than transform. 3. Cosmos backrest is too upright, I didn't like it. 4. Ease also I didn't like that much. 5. Aura is good, has a wide backrest. It's comfort is as good as transform for me, but it has some additional features like more adjustable armrests. So overall, I'd choose between Transform or Aura. Both are good, Aura isn't that much better than transform when you look at their price difference.

Bro dint even bother to speak abt ergonomics or adjustable lumbar support while reviewing an ergonomic chair! And the head rest is useless as you can see in the video. Take my honest advice and buy chairs only after you physically go and check them. If you plan to sit on a working chair for hours, pls spend time and money to go and check them first yourself and dont depend a youtuber ever - saying this after wasting alot of time and money buying youtuber recommended chairs in last 5 yrs. I got one custom made with all possible features needed in a local store by paying just 10k! And most imp. dont fall for all grid matrix rubber shit cushion etc from co.s
