They're not that expensive anyway and that's not how pricing works. Or perhaps what you're really asking is for the government to subsidize sunscreens.

@@ub-4630 not sure how you interpreted that from my comment.Pretty sure we live in different countries and no, I am not asking my government to do that. If you see my second comment, you'll see that I meant you should not pay for an expensive sunscreen(the docs mentioned one in the clip) as there are many good affordable ones out there and for sunscreen to be efficient you need to use a lot.

Don't assume the Trader Joe's sunscreen is sold out just because it isn't on the shelves. Ay my Trader Joe's, when I went up to the desk to ask when they were going to get it back in, they said they had plenty of it behind the desk and that they didn't put it out because it was being stolen so frequently. So be sure to ask before assuming that they don't have any.

I agree; retinol does everything! I use Trentinoin at night and bakuchi oil in the morning. That and a basic moisturizer is all I use and my skin has improved so much! Plus I moved to a humid climate- that really helped. Perhaps others who can’t move can use a vaporizer instead.

@@GabeTheYabe Agency is great for getting Tretinoin. You answer some questions online regarding your skin and get matched with a dermatologist. They come up with a formula for you usually with some niacinamide and possibly tranexamic acid. You get the first month free, and after that they’ll text and email you when your next shipment is about to ship and will ask you how you are doing with it. It’s like just under $70 every two months but you can always skip a shipment or change it to a later date.

But I can still share it if you’re willing to try something. 1. Cerave Facial Foaming cleanser and sometimes Differin Acne Cleanser with 5% benzoyl peroxide 2. Paula’s Choice 2% BHA (I use it everyday but if your skin is dry or sensitive probably use it less I just tested the frequency and this helped me the best) 3. Vanicream moisturizing cream (I might change to the cerave one) 4. Trader Joe’s 40 spf sunscreen.

Out of topic: What is the best body scrub to use?
@LilBoPeep777
@LilBoPeep777 Жыл бұрын
Hello, I’m big on body scrubs! Soap & Glory makes one called The Scrub of Your Life. It’s heavily fragranced but I use it once a week and when washing in preparation of a special occasion. The smell is perfumed beautifully in my opinion and people give me compliments. When I get out of the shower I put a face serum on called a 1000 Roses (it is a holy grail for me) then apply on arms and elbows a body butter by Soap & Glory. It smells amazing. You have to massage a thick moisturizer on hands and feet so I use “aquaphor baby “ it has been the Best thing for the skin on hands 🙌 I use it every day and won’t go without it ever again! Hahaha there I go on and on talking about skincare and products. I hope that something in this rambling is helpful for you. Cheers !

Thank you, Doctors, for all the smiles, tips and product information that you have shared with us in 2022! I have one request for 2023 and that is mention fragrance when you are discussing specific products. I am hugely fragrance sensitive and I have unfortunately purchased way too many skin care products online only to find out that I am not able to use them because of the strong smell. Would really appreciate if you would note the fragrance free ones or at least the ones that have a bit more of a natural fragrance rather than perfume and other strong fragrances. Thanks so much! Happy New Year!

@@20thcenturyrelic thanks for jumping on my bandwagon! I don't think people realize how many people are fragrance sensitive. Some of us are much worse and some are not as severely sensitive, but there are a lot of us who can't take a lot of fragrance in our face products! Personally, I don't believe there should be fragrance in face products, but I know some people love their perfumed creams. 😥

I appreciate that y’all brought up alternate (affordable) options in each category (: I wouldn’t buy L’Oréal since it’s owned by Nestle, so I was delighted to see another alternative.

I just bought and tried La Roche Double Repair Matte Face Moisturizer (matte) and it’s pretty drying. I guess it’s great for very oily skin type but not for combination type. I feel zero moisture. Will return the product.

Why do you guys never talk about the need to protect and care for the upper eyelid and crease area? This skin is very fragile and gets sun damage. Wrinkles and lines develop there, as do droopiness and dryness. Yet y’all rarely if ever talk about the importance of even moisturizing this area. And why is the under eye area area always the focus with eye creams? I just don’t get it. Thank you for all the great videos and education this year. I appreciate your time and efforts. Happy 2023!

I can’t use any eye creams on my actual lids as it just gets uncomfortable but I do put it under my brow and all around my eyes. Wearing polarised sunglasses every time I’m outside would reduce the UV damage too so I’m sure that helps.

Yer, it’s an inconvenient truth that quite a lot of people don’t tolerate sun cream in this area, so sunglasses are probably the best option available. I tried lots of different creams until I found one which didn’t cause my eyes to burn
