One very old- school technique that has so far increased my squat strength a lot is the 20 rep breathing squat. You pick a weight that is 65% of your 1 rep max or a weight were can get at least 12 reps with, but you go past it and go for 20 reps instead. The way you complete it is by taking your time in the erect position at the top of the squat and breath in and out slowly costally and into your diaphragm as well to puff up your ribcage and stretch and expand your upper body then squat down and keep on going until you hit 20 reps (If you can). I went from only being able to do 225lbs for 20 up to about 245lbs in just 3 weeks. You only need 1 single set per workout because it is so intense. What causes you to increase your strength so rapidly is because of how it increases your metabolism and appetite for more food to give you more energy and protein to repair your muscle tissue. It is a great program to cycle a few times through out the year for about 6 weeks at a time. You also superset it immediately with 20 rep breathing pullovers as well.

reminds me of USRPT…ultra short race pace training…it allows swimmers to do very fast swims (because the are shot bursts) on 30 second intervals…it essentially minimizes lactic acid production

Hey! According to you which is the one ( according to you the best ) track workout to improve acceleration for phase 2 (30-60) . Should i do sled sprints with 10% bw ranging from 30m to 50m or flying 30? As my 20-30 split is much faster than 30-40 split dont know how. 20-30 split beimg the fastest in my 100m

Is muscle memory a thing, and how does it work?
@leebaroneau

It's not a thing - it's more of a concept that people use to explain that your brain recalls specific motor patterns but the muscles themselves don't remember anything.
