I think he did return but sadly the Dark Fat movie was oppisitely "special" than the other last ones (except T1 and T2)

This film was the best of the Terminator films, as it set the standard for shear terror, plus it was simply among the most terrifying animatronic work ever, I'm sorry but the original Terminator skeleton in this film is more terrifying and convincing than the one in Salvation. While T2 was a sequel, it was one of the few cases in which a sequel comes close to a tie with the predecessor.
