@juliansmith4153. You're not wrong. So much of the faceup game that players play now, is specifically because of the lack of hand checking. The back to the basket game by guards was utilized in order to protect the ball still from hand checking. So a lot of shots had to be fadeaways instead of open shots after one crossover where a guy can't touch you.

Edwards continues to improve as a scorer, KAT has bounced back well from his cold start and they have two top ten defenders in Rudy and Mcdaniels. Despite some fit questions they seem to complement each other perfectly. Conley has been the perfect role player for them as well.

How about the Orlando Magic! It's been a rough many years here in Orlando. I know we are just 15 Games in but they are off to a 10-5 start and currently 2nd in the East right now. They just put down the East leading Celtics today too. There is a lot of talent on the Magic Roster and it's starting to develop and pay dividends...

Jordan Hawkins being one of the best 3pt shooting rookies ever, and the Pelicans duo being legit healthy and coming up fast in the west. They dropped some games early due to injuries but BI and Zion are figuring out their chemistry and almost had a 5 game win streak over the Mavs, Nuggets, Kings, and Wolves. A real dark horse contender this season and they haven't even had their best shooter on court this year

I love the inseason tournament. Its a brand new competition, I dont know why it took so long for basketball fans to realize a new trophy to play for can be awesome My fixes? Extended pool play to 8 games. More opportunities for teams that start slow to get back in it. Then the knockout, 8 is okay for now but I feel like 12 teams in the knockout feels right. 6 group winners plus 3 wild cards from each conference? Thats sounds spicy and more variables for playoff like basketball in Winter.

As a Lakers fan, LeBron's minutes per game are a bit concerning. I remember Darvin Ham said something about wanting LeBron to play reduced minuets at the start of the season, but the Lakers just play so differently when he's not on the floor that I don't even know if that's even an option due to Anthony Davis's injury pattern. I know that if the Lakers are going to make something happen this season that it's going to have to be a long process, but it doesn't set a good precedent if the guy who gets you out of crunch time is also the oldest player in the NBA.

One day we will be appreciative of what 2010s stars really did for the game because most of them made the top 100 and all of them for different reasons.
