I’m in NC, and wear it as a 4 season. You are correct, the ventilation is not perfect, but that kind of helps stretch its usability into freezing temps…with adding just 1-2 undergarment layers. I wore the full suit when doing the BMW offroad class and can confirm its durability and protection when repeatedly crashing in the gravel pit…so much fun!

Thanks for your comments, tossing up between a sand 4 and something comparable. Not being able to close the vents is a negative for where i ride and as you say to stretch the dollars its a bit limited in riding seasons. Thought this might be worth looking at and to use a rain suit over the top. I do like the better cut than the Klim offerings. Cheers🇦🇺

Hey thanks for the review. I have the Klim Baja and the Klim Induction jackets. Riding in 40 degree C heat in Australia I actually find the ventilation very good on both but the Baja slightly better partially because of the tab back collar which is superb. I find the fact these suits don't have waterproofness is a big bonus. Cannot stand waterproof inner liners. If it rains flexible rain gear over the top works really well for me. The Baja fits snug enough on me so that the armour won't move in a spill but not so tight that there's no room for airflow.. maybe that added "boxiness" helps the airflow vs the Revit stuff? Just a thought. Again thanks very much. Super review!

Thanks! went to the store and tried a large, I'm 6' 195 and fits great, then went home and got a "like new" one on Ebay for 45% off the price tag. Now, looking at this video I did the right choice :) I am in Vancouver riding mostly 50 to 85 degrees. Cheers

I've seen this video before and I bought this jacket. Pants not couse too much bulky for me. I really like this jacket. Its bomb proof air jacket. I feel safe even on road pushing hard my bike.

I have the Dominator gtx and it’s the best jacket I’ve ever worn. Similar protection to this jacket and very stylish. My jacket is bearable up to high 80 degrees and could be better ventilated.

Very accurate review. The Revit Cayenne Pro does look better and has more protection but the Klim Baja is much cooler. I wore my Carlsbad Pro jacket on the WABDR and it was too hot on the off-road sections and not warm enough under 65 degrees on the road. I still love the jacket but have dedicated it to more road and fire-road rides. I just got back from my first ride with the Klim Baja gear- pants and jacket. 720 miles over four days to Mammoth and off-road rides on my 790. The Baja gear was excellent with temps ranging from the high 50''s all the way up to the low 90's and it excelled on the off-road sections. The ventilation was great wearing only a t-shirt and padded shorts under. Much cooler than the Cayenne Pro. The Klim Baja is now my go-to ADV gear when heading off-road.

I find the arm pocket zip snags frequently. Otherwise an excellent jacket. The rabbit pocket irritates me. I’d rather have less material and more mesh. In really hot weather I find this jacket as good as my Rukka Airman, but with much more protection. The more ventilated jackets compromise significantly on protection. I like the pants a lot. I ride in very varied weather, from sun zero to 48°C. This is great for hot weather. When the temperature drops or it rains I wear a KLIM over jacket and the combination is much more flexible than the supposed three season suits. For cold, winter weather I like the Badlands too.

So this was 2 years ago…. Do you ride the Baja now? I am prone to overheating easily but still want abrasion “to the trail” (upstate NY typically many road miles to dirt). I wear separate armor so will likely stow the jacket when off road. I am looking at this jacket, revit territory, and Baja. Almost exact size as you and also find the klim stuff sized with a beer gut in mind.

I bought the whole suit... so far I love it. Like everything, there’s always some little things, but overall I feel, good about my purchase. Dress for the slide not just the ride.

Try Olympia which is less than half the price and double the ventilation. And you get three layers in one that is good for all seasons. Check out air glide five.

another good review. good job. Now about the editing....if i may be so bold, and considering i couldn't do this at all, but you have too many cuts. especially in the beginning. If you're going to cut something, might as well cut the part where you glance at your notes. Not sure you viewers care if you stumble a bit, nothing wrong with that. When you get off script a bit, usually later in the videos, it just seems to flow a bit better. food for thought. Keep up the good work. stay safe.

Dainese textile suits have a more elegant, Italian style compared to (the Dutch) Revit, cause I`ve heard you mentioning this feature. Spidi are also very stylish but lack in real life fetures. During sales season you can get better deals from Dainese compared to Revit. A Dutch brand that has very good (mesh) products, has nicely designed products and comes at right prices (unlike Revit) is Macna. They are becoming more and more popular in Europe. Dont know about States.

Good review! I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I am shopping for a dual sport (85% dirt road) suit and prefer the European look over the Klim. The biggest factor for me is that usually when I leave to go riding it is 30C but by the time I get home it is 8C so I need a suit that has layers. I was looking at the REV"it Sand 4 with optional back c2 armor, but do you have something even better in mind? Or do you think that would probably be a good choice. Thank you!

Adv riders flea market! Would love to know this forum. If u have a link or some place to look up please suggest. I've eyeing for deals on ebay but all in vain so far. I've already picked up the jacket at almost 40% off from its original retail price. Now looking to fill it in with the pants in sand / black color option. Please suggest 🙏

It was disappointing to hear about the poor air flow. I really wanted to want this jacket. I do love the cut of Revit but I've heard of too many cases of seams failing in minor offs. I'll probably just get a Klim baja altered to copy the adjusters on this one and call it a day.

Thank you sir, I am considering buying that one or Baja. I am in Israel where summer is 10 months of the year with highest temp like 105 F/ 40C with 70%+ humidity. So I needa as much ventilation I can get. Another concern is about price, here in Israel Baja Jacket being sold for around 800$ new, and Cayene I can buy from ebay with little discount for 450$ not including taxes (150$ for taxes) meaning Baja for 800 vs Cayene for 600 it's 200$ difference. Baja is more ventilated than cayene. The main question is, is it worth 200$ paying for more ventilation? @Big Rock Moto

You do good stuff and present a lot of great data but why is every video called brutally honest review? I bought this suit years ago and hated it, returned it immediately. For a mesh suit I found it ridiculously heavy and overbuilt to the point my Gore was actually cooler.

@@BigRockMoto Not trying to be critical or negative so don't take it as such. I'm trying to give honest feedback and help you out here because you do great stuff. As a viewer and long time rider when I notice every one of your video titles ends in brutally honest review I raise an eyebrow and it loses its effect and is a turn off. OK why does this guy feel the need to keep restating that he is honest brutally? What of his stuff is dishonest? If he needs to add catch phrases to the title is he making up for lack of material in his video? I don't have 20min to waste I'll just skip this video and watch someone else's. Another thing I would recommend as a business guy and someone who is thinking of doing a channel and have done a ton of research on marketability is stick with your niche. You're a motorcycle guy why are you brutally reviewing the family car, camper, pedal bike, car tires? What makes you qualified to talk about all these things? Are you just making videos for the sake of making videos and does this guy go through this many cars and campers and if so why because that's a red flag in itself? Does he actually have any of these things he's making videos on long enough to actually form a brutally honest opinion or does he just fly through things to make videos like unboxing channels who "review" things they have no real time on. If all his videos are honest why does he need to keep advertising that he is honest? IMHO it takes away from authenticity not adding to.
