Feminism has automatic victimization built in to it, by default. No matter what you say, do or think, if you are a man you are in the wrong and are pushing the "patriarchy" agenda. No matter what. And if you're female then you are innocent and incapable of all wrong doing and are a "victim" of the patriarchy and a victim of men. As all men are oppressors. It's cyclical logic, akin to: Everything in the Bible is true because it's the word of God and we know it's the word of God because it says so in the Bible and the Bible is true because...

I'm not going to deny it, and I applaud Bill for pointing them out and helping these men with advice. I like to see radical feminists as a group all on their own, and this is what this woman is. Real feminists want equality, so if I talk shit on assholes that cheat on their wife's you better believe I'm happy to hear bitches being called out for cheating as well.
@samuski369 жыл бұрын
Jenna Paules When you say that real feminists want equality, what does that actually mean? I'm not criticizing your comment, but I hear it all the time and never can get a clear explanation of what it means when a person says they want equality. Equality for whom? Equality under what circumstances? Equality to what? Se how ambiguous it is for one to simply say they want equality? There are no qualifiers in such a statement.

Great podcast, Billy Boy. You handle a serious topic as well as you do comedy. I always get a laugh when feminists say that women here should have all the rights that they do in Scandinavian countries. The fact is that in Scandinavian divorce courts alimony payments can only be for 6 months to a year and women are not given preference in custody. That's the good side of equality that we should adopt here.

The thing that interests me most about this is that Bill makes a point of saying that he is addressing, roughly, 13% of women, yet the comments below often extrapolate this to a blanket statement applied to all women. As for divorce, my ex-husband and I used a mediator instead of lawyers. saved a crapload of money, and we never had the whole combatant mentality. Basically, I paid him $40,000 to go away. On the issue of slavery, if one considers the status of women internationally, it becomes a relevant point. Damn I love the U.S.A.

I have a buddy who was with a girl for years. For Years she wouldn't work, wouldn't go to school, wouldn't do anything around the house. He paid for everything, is the nicest guy but always had a problem with letting people walk all over him. Anyway, he finally started talking about dumping her and getting her to move out, but they've been living together long enough that they are now partners by common law. She's threatened to get a lawyer since under that law she is entitled to 50% of the money he earned while they were together. Totally disgusting. Even her friends are disgusted. She finally agreed to move out, but, like I said, my friend is way too nice of a guy, so she guilted him into giving her five months to do it. Meanwhile she's still living there, the whole time, trying to guilt trip him into not breaking up with her, not making her move out, ec.. Worst part when he'd talk to her about possibly helping out around the house more she'd pull some bullshit about him trying to "force me into a housewife role" and her reasoning behind not working or going to school were "body issues".

I agree 100% with bill's stance on divorce settlements. Men often have to go through total horse shit in divorce and it's not talked about enough. I think it's so tilted in womens' favor (as decided by law) to compensate for the whole 70 cents on the man's dollar "dilemma" or at least so it will keep the issue from being talked about. Maybe men should be happy that women don't take men for even more than they've got because God knows if they could, they would.
@SugaryCoyote10 жыл бұрын
We're still held to divorce laws written when men were 100% of the income in an age where - for whatever reason - income is split almost evenly. Nevermind all those reports that girls are just kickin' butt and become the primary earners.

(As I said below) but people keep asking for my sources while providing absolutely none of their own. It's a bully pit.
