I've always appreciated Bill Burr as a cut above most comics. He's funny because he finds humor in day to day life. He's authentic because he just is who he is, unapologetically, and it's that authenticity that shines through in his charisma. He doesn't have to try to make you laugh, he mainly just shares what he himself finds funny.

He doesn’t overdo it, knows his limits, and picks up on social clues very well in order to adjust, yet he still accepts everyone for who they are and slides in remarks of where others have gone wrong or can be better. I know a lot of people seem to dislike the Theo Vaughn and Bill Burr segment, but I loved it. It's like when two good friends kind of get into it but then one of them grows and is better from it. I think it's good that that podcast is out there because it shows how humans can get through difficult conversations when both of them are actually just different people

Yes and no. Sometimes his ego seems pretty fragile if the wrong person basically treats him the way Tony treats others. Other times he definitely shows how witty and funny he is when he's busting balls
