I will admit I didn't know who she was until this video. I can honestly say that seeing a female comic make jokes about anything other than their poon or them being a woman, and the point of view therein was refreshing. She was honestly funny, too. I might look her up later. Hopefully, she has more material than therapy and mental health related stuff. I'm not sure I could watch a whole set without it getting old.

Zoloft is the reason I’m still alive. Ended up in a locked psychiatric ward the month before I turned 30; I’m now 66 and have only requested an increase in my Zoloft dosage twice. I’m so glad that the stigma that used to come with mental health issues has transmuted from being judged as a moral failure into a medical situation that is not visible to the eye, but is as real as having MS or ALS, which is generally physically apparent.

I did my wife College before we were married we went to separate ways, and then one day after an incident I was ordered to therapy just for some more of an evaluation when I walked in for my evaluation it was my old girlfriend she would become a therapist, and it turned out to be very helpful, had my evaluation to cure. My community service made restitution, and I was good to go live my life while I was going through this process, I was dating my therapist, which, by the way works out really good when you need certain paperwork anyway, we marry will be married 35 years this summer. I’m bipolar one with severe depression and hard-core manic episodes, so my wife manages me like this when she wants to get a big project done she’ll mention to Michell Fohl that the house is looking kind of shabby on the front there. I was thinking of having one of the painters come by and take a look at it. Oh, I also picked up a gallon of the paint that I want him to paint it with well about a week later I start painting the outside of the house about 1 o’clock in the morning it’s OK I’ve built elaborate lighting system with motion sensors so as I walk back-and-forth in front of the house, the light will come on and go off on a bother the neighbors and of course, before I paint the house, I have to sand down the entire front of the house caulk make sure everything‘s ready to be painted and the job comes out great I’m too tired to argue and my wife saves about $5000 having The front of the house painted

The “bring your credit card” bit hurt me hard… I quit seeing a therapist once because I became convinced he was writing a book about the high-profile event I am a survivor / witness of, but I knew how paranoid that made me sound. So I told him I couldn’t afford the copays, and he said “oh no, that’s fine… I’ll let the front know to waive them.” and instead of being comforted I just became even MORE afraid that he was using me for like… some kind of flex at best and content creation at best, and then I just quit going and didn’t ever call them back.
