Not just Liverpool Managers, all of football!..I'm a Spurs fan and when he spoke u listened! A truly one off, unique, inspiring character, man of the people&fans! He understood the game& that most relevant and Important connection between the fans( which means the community) and the Team. And I think every new footballer,Manager and employee, should be shown the video about him& the Clubs origins! Man Utd had the great Matt Busby& the 'Busby Babes& the Munich Air disaster& the rebuild! ( yrs later SAF+£££ ), Celtic had the great Jock Stein and Spurs were fortunate to have Bill Nicholson! But Bill Shankly wasn't just the Liverpool Manager,he represented the community& City, because he really cared about the fans!

I'm here after Liverpool have won number 19. I'd just like to say thank you boss. Liverpool would not be what it is today without this man. If he never took over in 59, Liverpool would not have been a global empire, my father would have never supported them and I'd never have got to experience what it's like to follow this gigantic club. Every trophy the club has won since 59 is all down to you. R.I.P

Four genuine masters 4 Sirs of Football Busby ,Shankly,Stein,Clough 4 men who entertained put fans before chairmen & directors Men who suffered no fools no egos .Knighted by football fans would mean more to 4 characters than anything Queen could bestow on them .Shanks only manager I ever heard Brian Clough say he 100% respected ,loved Shanks like a father Could see in Cloughies eyes exactly how much worshipped Shanks. Sad thing is England now look to Europe ,pay huge salaries Inc compensation packages when sack foreign managers.Scotland still has top managers just not getting opportunity ,working on almost no budget yet expected to still please fans eyes ,have game plans play to entertain .St Johnstone win cup double ousted Old Firm dominance Livi are well organised Shanks would be pushing for fellow countrymen to be given chance Managers like himself hard ,honest total football men that had genuine bond with fans you cannot BS that with fans.Pity never had Shankly take Scotland job Imagine him with Souness,Dalglish,Hansen ,Cooper,mcLeish,Miller,Strachan,Gough to name a few Shankly with Stein as double act Were solid friends & most of all geniuses man management ,tactician masters players idolized had a respect long gone from game Shanks is our Clough the best international managers we both never had .Still today famous This is Anfield players see & touch enroute to pitch Every game flags with Shankly image scouse fans fly high & proud still hear Anfield chant Shankly.Famous Shankly Gates stand solid & straight ,have an aura exactly like Liverpool Legend Mr Bill Shankly Gates are better than any statue At Ibrox we have famous Gates EVERY young & old Inc away visiting fans ,tourists are drawn to stand & have photo taking I imagine it's exact same at Anfield Entrance to very special, historical place The Four Masters The Terrace Legends RIP.
