I’m a 76 year old grandma, and I managed to solve my Dyson’s pulsing problem with the help of this video. Didn’t have to replace the battery either! Many thanks. 🏆🌟

Lots of videos on this but yours is the first one I've found that says the most common problem is the battery. Wish I'd seen this first and saved a bunch of time. Just ordered a new battery on Amazon. We've got a brand new Dyson from Costco still in the box. Hoping to return it and save $700.

Thank you so much Brother! I found one of these a year back on the side of the road, and knew one day I would circle back and try to fix it. Sure enough, a year later, I just stumbled upon your video. All I need to do is replace the battery! haha! Wife is going to be so happy. She always wanted a Dyson stick vac, and this one is in great condition still! Thanks again!

Thank you so much for your video. I had that exact problem. Watched a couple of video on how to fix and they basically just mentioned the same thing of cleaning the filter etc which was of no help to me as I was still having the same issue. Your video is very clear and thorough. I now know that I need a new battery.

I've taken my Dyson completely apart and thoroughly cleaned everything. I've even cleaned the vacuum motorhead and all electrical contacts and I still have the same problem. I've run it without the cyclone head and have the same issue. For this Dyson model cleaning alone usually works, but I'd say It's battery time for me! Thanks for the video.

how is it the best video? any idiot would have figured out if they had a faulty battery, he started of telling people how to check filter and dissasemble the unit which they would have already know how to do then turn around and say change the battery, how is that fixing it?

Also there are no screws to remove to get the battery off, there is a button to push. Hope this helps and thanks again for your cheerful assistance!!

Thanks very much for your really easy to follow instruction vid. First and foremost I'm going to give my Dyson a thorough clean (it stinks anyway: we have a dog!). But sure by giving it a proper clean will help. Then I'll get a new battery from Amazon 🇬🇧. And if that fails it'll have to be an "Oh well..." because last think I want to do is spend a bomb on repairs. Really like this as it's lightweight and I can clean the stairs with it so easily. But best of all it's cordless! Got a corded Dyson we've had for about 7yrs. The dog's broke it twice so this is it's lot if he attacks it again. We'll just cut off the cord and park it by his bed cos we believe he actually thinks its a moving/talking/breathing/smelling creature😂!!

With a very hairy cat, I find that the inlet to the canister can clog, so I check that regularly. Emptying the canister often while using is also inportant. I clean the screens and filters every fortnight.
@nigelmitchell3513 жыл бұрын
Cheapest, to first check all filters, most importantly not forgetting the one on back of the motor fan. The one he doesn't check. When you clean it you won't believe it could have caused the stoppage.

My problem is that the brush won't spin. Everything is clean, the brushes filters and all electrical contacts. I don't think there is any or enough electrical power coming out of the motor. The motor seems to have plenty of power but it does shut off intermittently......not very often. Would a weak battery allow the motor to run but not enough power to turn the brush?
