I suffer from bipolar depression and ptsd. I take my drugs and function through numbness. I don't want to FEEL because it always knocks the wind out of me. This song brings awareness to bipolar depression which I personally don't think gets talked about enough. Your reaction was genuine and heart felt and beautiful. Thank you for being such a lovely person.

Mental health in general is something society isn't comfortable talking about. It's a shame, because if we cared for people with mental health issues better, we would be a better society overall.

Chris Stapleton did a lot of research and put a lot of respect and advocacy into mental illness awareness into this video. It shows the extreme highs and lows of being mentally ill and the ones that try to save their loved ones. It also shows the representation that even as a cop, who saves so many, couldn't save his loved one from her mental illness on his own. Acceptance, awareness, and action, stopping the taboo and speaking openly about these issues, helping your loved one to get help is how we save one another. 💚 ; your story isn't over yet

I’ve always loved this song. To approach love in a way where you know it will hurt you but you do it unafraid because your person deserves that is wonderful. And the way he sings it so passionately like he would do it again even if he knew the outcome is beautiful. Great reaction bissy

At the time this was the only video Chris had done. In his mind this was what he imagined as the hardest situation in which to love and care for someone. Someone who is mentally ill (bipolar, depressed, etc) and suicidal. To care for them as someone, who's job it is to help and save others, but ultimately not able to save your spouse.

Bipolar is a condition that is too often overlooked . It's real, and there's nothing a person can do about the feelings they feel. Sometimes you simply look at tomorrow and cannot see it..... and you think the only way is to give in to the darkness.

Always loved this song - first time seeing the video. Had to look it up and here is what I found: The song “Fire Away” by Chris Stapleton is from his 2015 album Traveller. The song is not from a movie, but the music video for “Fire Away” was created to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention.

When you love someone, you stand by their side through their faults and imperfections because we all know that no one if perfect. When you truly love someone, you stand by their side no matter what, even if their pain and actions don't make sense to you, and even when they hurt you when they're not even trying to do so. I'm just sorry that I realized this all too late and I just showed her my love but never my true love for her.

Jim Croce is folk/country from the 70's that is very good. Leroy Brown, Jim Walker, Lover's Cross, Operator, I Got A Name... pretty much every song he ever wrote was great and he died in a plane crash at the height of his fame. Toby Keith, George Strait, Alan Jackson, and Garth Brooks basically defined country music from the 90's to 2010's and have too many hits to name. Lainey Wilson, Megan Maroney, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen are the big stars the past few years, each of them having like five songs on the top 100 country charts every year for the past couple of years. Hank Williams and Hank Williams Jr are of course classics, I think probably every person's introduction into country music should start with Hank Williams Jr's "A Country Boy Can Survive" (it was #13 on the 2023 top 100 chart based on streaming plays and it was released in 1983, if that tells you anything about the song's popularity) Just Jim Croce's greatest hits could keep you busy for the next two weeks, if you did only the songs that charted by the singers I've named you'd be able to release a country song reaction every day for the next year.

Just got a new sports car out of nowhere at 36 years old because my dad is bipolar. Yeah its a cool car (and thankfully he did well with his job before retiring), but he hasn't been the Dad that raised me for a long time (he broke right as I entered high school . His manic/depressive cycles are very spread out and unpredictable despite the mountain of drugs he is prescribed. He will go for many months, or even more than a year, of being dead to the world depressed. He just sits in his recliner and reads or watches TV, dead to the world. His manic stages come out of nowhere in quick, fleeting bursts of just pure YOLO energy. Cars, big TVs, home renovations, etc.

Thank You Jesus for Your mercy and grace!!! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️ (I still suffer with these illnesses, and I won't lie, sometimes they do break through and ruin my day, bit I always bring it to Jesus!!!) Good country music feels real, and touches authentic emotions in you. They tell very specific stories that a lot of us can relate to. Chris Stapleton is amazing, and crosses all genres. "Death Row" is great. His stuff with the Steeldrivers is a very different style. For some foundational country, check out Johnny Cash and June Carter wife doing "Jackson". Your tears show you have a good heart It unfortunate but this happens every day Sadly we'll never be able to stop it as humans I know of 3 people who taken their lives They act normal other then being abnormally happy on the day All pick time and place when they knew loved ones and friends Wouldn't be around to stop them So anyone who's had to deal with this in their lives Please don't blame yourselves as there's nothing you could do As they are very good at hiding what their feeling and about to do Just remember them for who they where and the chance you had to make good memories Don't let the one troubling thing in their lives surpass the great memories you've made together 2 of the one's I known I said to their partners they left you with the ultimate gifts children They left a part of themselves for you to enjoy and that's what they'd want you to do To continue to enjoy life and look after their legacy as they trust you with them because they are unable to So don't let the one act take away years of enjoyment you had together Also remember you cannot know ever how they felt as your never in the same place The closest you'll get to the pain is their loss yet not to the extent they've gone to As for miss bisscute love you have a ♥ My 💔 to see a lady cry big hug from down under Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
