Simply stated, Brand Value of Toyota Fortuner and reliability are reasons for it's success. Toyota is world renown for it's reliability which many people would prefer over useless features like Sunroofs. It may be overpriced but it's not overrated. It's a capable offroader. It's parts are easier to source than the Germans. It may not be as comfortable but that is not what it is for. Reliability is also a major factor. If you want an actually overhyped sunroof, you are free to get a 4×2 Thar instead, Toyota isn't for you.

5:52 correction increasing the number of cylinders have nothing to do with smoothness, it is very easy to find which engine will be smooth or which will be not, if the number of cylinders are 6 or multiple of 6 ( for example 12, 18, 24 etc.) will be inherently smooth, because the primary and secondary forces will be balanced, any even number of piston engine can be primary balanced, but only 6 and it multiples will be both primary and secondary balanced.

Not any number of 6 cylinder engines (or its multiples); but to be precise, only the inline 6 or its variants (V12 is part of that) have natural primary and secondary balance. Having said that, a larger single cylinder engine that makes X HP will be louder than a 2/3/4 cylinder engine making the same X HP. So his sentence still holds ground.

@@aspmusic5904 Indeed! when you are told to think about an inherently balanced engine with the least number of pistons, the i6 is the first to click in mind among its category, other than that 60-degree V6 is also there and flat 6 is also in the category, so calling inline 6 only is not absolutely true statement. A single-piston engine will be like a true vibrator, but adding one more piston will make it at least primarily smooth ( assuming it's a flat plane ) add one more piston, creates 3 piston engine, fire 2 pistons same time and one 180 degree after, doing so will smooth out secondary forces over the expense of primary, increasing the number of pistons will provide more frequent firing, it is like peddling, 1 time/min or 12 times/min which will give more frequent rotational forces on the wheel in the same time if you want more frequent firing you either add more pistons or rev up higher.
