I'm not a fan of rotating screens and other gimmicks, but that soft, matt interior looked nice. Manufacturers take notice: Chrome and shiny plastics are the last thing you should put inside a car!

I wonder how a rotating/swivel screen does over road imperfections. Tolerances at the swivel would have to be super tight, otherwise it may feel flimsy. Not everyone drives on pristine CA roads.

@@lethuliv5500 Looks like the Norwegian prices are starting at NOK 372.000,-, I can’t imagine them being *that* much more expensive in Sweden. That said, fossile fuel cars were typically ~15% *cheaper* in Sweden before, but that is sort of besides the point here. Are electric cars exempt from VAT in Sweden? Because they still are in Norway.

When the main screen is in landscape mode, the bezel matches perfectly with the trim strip behind it. This must have been intentional, and if so, it's pretty impressive attention to detail.

It’s seems are really good size with thoughtful touches all over. I just hope the price is really affordable. We need more MG, less Audi. We need more manufacturers thinking about wheelchair space too. The MG ZS EV was the only car that would take my large chair.

Their web page says "revolutionary full-length SolarSky roof". Up to 1,500 miles per YEAR. Under ideal conditions may increase beyond 2,000 miles per YEAR. So between 12.5% and 16.7% of a 12,000 mile per year usage.

Really love this car, but I'd prefer the central screen to stay fixed in landscape position. The opening rear quarter glasses are for the dogs/pets in the back, so they can have some fresh air from time to time. Fantastic job Bjorn, can't wait for you testing this one.

Windows are so tiny. Front is unnecessary long for EV. For me one of the main bonuses of buying a tall car (SUV, minivan) is to have excellent view all around. What's with trend of making windows smaller and smaller and in SUVs?

Yeah, I test drove the EV6 and was suprised at how bad the visibility was. The dead spot windows was not even visible from the front. I guess all the high tech warning should replace it, but its still nice to be able to manually check things.

Nice car!.. The invisible air vents and big center mounted tablet gives it a Tesla vibe I must say, But exterior I am not a fan, too boxy for my taste, and the boxyness will have its toll on efficiency. But lets hope they can make tons of these cars in Austria! Sure they will sell as cupcakes.

His first car was a beautiful sports sedan - a serial hybrid with a small gasoline engine giving charge to the battery. The company folded unfortunately. This is a new project from jis own company.

@@nakfan I know, I had high hopes for the original Karma, seemed a good step at the moment. But this “Ocean” seems too little, too late. Just like Faraday Future option. Now Porsche, Mercedes are bringing “old luxury”, and Lucid is betting for “new luxury”. I don’t see a market for an Ocean or a FF in two years.

Production on schedule for Nov this year. Magna will rollout 50,000 next year. The base, Sport at $37,500, 250 estimated miles with CATL LFP batteries (same as in Tesla M3 standard range) is a real bargain!

@@rod2625 they are showing concept cars without battery packs or working UI and lots of things just not there, like cupholders, and you think they can start production in nine months? You must have no idea what kind of testing and validation and certification is required to start production of a new car. Realistically, they are three years from being able to start production and far less than that from the day that Fisker cashes in his stock and leaves the company to go bankrupt, like he did with his last car company.

I love the shape of the vehicle and the size of the screen. They indicated they would have some decent payment options that would include insurance but I'm not sure where they are on that now. I really wish it was in production now. Unfortunately I believe that when or if it does go into production that about time it goes on sale it's going to be super expensive.

Normally 'pre production' is the almost final iteration before production starts. It should be functional, such as the pre production ID.Buzz is now in pre production. Prototype is much earlier in the process, and it's what this looks like if it's not yet functional.

A prototype should have the battery pack and motors and so on, it should be functional and can be used for testing and so on. This is not even a prototype, it is a model or "concept car." The Sony EV they showed a few years ago while claiming they were not going to make cars was far more functional and closer to production.

The Fisker Karma was made by Fisker Automotive, which went bankrupt and was purchased by a Chinese parts supplier who have fixed the fixable big problems it had and are making it today. This is a new company Fisker is pretending will make cars.

I am not sure about the 2nd and 3rd row windows... looking really weird. Do we know the towing capability? But all in all, if this really gets to production in this form, with these materials already in the lowest trim, and at the same time will have decent charging curve and consumption, then it will be a great contender on the market.

They said that the towing capability is 4000 pounds. It will have an exceptional charging curve with 250kw of power. It is efficient due to its catl batteries and the windows are like that so that they can have enough space for the roll down mechanisms for the California mode.

this is my next go to car after Rivian drop the price bomb. I love the California mode. I love the rotating screen fantastic solution. I wish we would get a frunk, but it's not there. Also... I will miss my Enyaq's matrix leds. I guess they are not there as this is an American car after all.

Is it true that the Ultra doesnt have adaptive cruise control? I mean, a lot cheaper EVs have that as standard, and lacking this could be a deal breaker for some (price increases a lot from ultra -> extreme)
