He wrote, performed, and produced all his albums I don't care who you are, that's a monumental task for a whole album yet alone his full catalog. The record company's never let young artist produce their own music but he made them believe. And when I say performed I mean he played every instrument and pieced each song together it's impressive. Yes he was literally a musical genius.

Prince was 1 of the greatest musicians ever! He played 27 different instruments, wrote his own lyrics & music, produced his own music, & did a lot of his own back up vocals! Checkout Prince "Wanna Be Your Lover" & "Darling Nikki"!

You HAVE to watch the movie, "Purple Rain" PLEASE!!! I was blessed way back in 1987 to see him live front row on his "Purple Rain Tour" two nights in a row!!! God, I had a MAD CRUSH on the man, was OBSESSED!!! Man was a very gifted musical genius!!! The movie Purple Rain was written by him and was basically a documentary of his life, dad was black and his mother italian, his dad was an abusive womanizer. Prince Rogers Nelson was his real name! He was so respected and dignified, soft spoken, reserved until he was performing, then thst little man gave it all he had ++++ Such an eccentric and unique human...terribly troubled soul, gone too soon😔🕺🏾⚧🎶💜 Anyways, you gotta watch the whole movie bruh! The fucking soundtrack was 🔥 🔥 🔥 stayed #1 for like a year if I remember right. He taught himself and could play like 15 different musical instruments or some shit. He is STILL know for jammin those riffs on that white electric guitar like Jimi Hendrix reincarnated(hope you know who Jimi was?) he could dance and play that thang simultaneously!! Enjoy the movie, it was a HUGE blockbuster hit, along with the #1 Soundtrack album, Prince was catapulted to Legend status immediately. SURELY to God you've heard his famous song, "1999"??? Which he basically foretells of the Y2K panic??? Only he wrote it way before computers even had really come out...Lyrics went something like, "2000... Zero zero parties over! Oops, out of time! We gonna party like it's 1999!!!" real weird shit, just incredibly close to what the big tech giants thought COULD happen to all computers, when the year rolled over on calenders from 1999, to 2000, due to programers NOT thinking ahead when they only used the two digits of 99, they REALLY didn't know possible issues, only imagined and worldwide panic called Y2K (year 2000) rocked the world, and fixed just in time, and the world's computers didn't implode or really do shit!!! FOUR digit years ONLY after that. Nobody really connected how accurate and psychic that the song was till the month before that New Years Eve in 1999...Weird ass times fr. The late 80's were a time when DRASTIC CHANGES IN HISTORY OCCURRED OR BEGAN TO.... Anyways, sorry for that history lesson. I'd all but forgotten those almost forgotten years of my youth. But thank you for reacting to "When Doves Cry", also from the "Purple Rain" movie. The video was scenes from the movie. Can't believe you haven't seen it, it was a masterpiece. Funny, great music, filmed in his hometown and true story with real people from his life. Morris Day & The Time were Prince's rival band and "Jungle Love" was a actual new "thing" back then, referring to races mixing, I swear! I got mixed grown children, Prince broke some racial barriers down being bi-racial himself. He never married or had any children sadly. Plenty beautiful woman though!!! React to "1999", "Little Red Corvette" and "Darling Nikki" by the man. Thanks so much bruh! #EST4LIFE ❌ ❌ #LTFU 👆

I really need to write an autobiography of my odd life and all that I've seen, heard and experienced and witnesed. Like my take or thoughts on my lifetime, the very spiritual, philosophical yet hilarious history of this world and the human condition. If you know a "ghost-writer" that would be really seriously interested in helping me achieve the sharing of MY take on My life from my birth in 1968-now, seriously let me know. I truly feel it MUST be told and cherished. I gotta have been meant for SOMETHING, gotta leave memories and a legacy here for when I'm no longer 🙏I meant to say, I will never be able to record it by myself, as you see, I get side-tracked, long-winded and ramble too much to ever finish, but I could surely TELL a person my story out loud and they can edit it, get 1/2 of all, if not more. I just want it to be told, leave it behind like ON FILE for discovery and teaching and learning for SOMEBODY to find and love, laugh and learn from all the blunders and insights that made my life really rich. Pass it on, pay it forward. LEAVE MY MARK

Prince was not bi-racial, his mom was not white, that was just something he put in the movie for effect. Also: If you saw him live in 87, it wasn't the Purple Rain tour. Great movie though. And classic album. And Prince? He's the GOAT.

Just want to set the record straight, old fans know him as multi-ethnic because Prince himself gave interviews that confused the media, because in Purple Rain his character was multi-ethnic, and his character being autobiographical, and his media presence not understanding his humor or probably not catching up on him deflecting the question of his private life of his parents, and because he had light skin, the world sort of picked up the idea he was mixed and ran with it at the time. I think he just got tired of correcting every folk. Me I'm just an old fan from the 80s, and the day I got the call he'd died, a piece of me died with him, and I'll never be the same for the way his music changed my heart mind & soul. All us old fans adored him in a way that was so appreciative of the music, because the music was a full landscape of sound, it was not an identity or a rebellion but a production of this man's mind. (There were none like him, but I sure say with total 100% feeling that if he were around today he'd be all about The Weeknd, that dude is sharp af) 💜

Please, we all know that Prince's music and the man was much more than a beat..

I saw Prince in New Orleans, Louisiana ; February 1, 1985 at the Superdome. This was during the Purple Rain Era. He sang "Do Me Baby" and was in a big white tub like that one standing up and there was purple fog smoke everywhere and he had a rose and then the scene faded near the end of the song. He was highly sexual and playful in his younger years. Loved the 80's ❗❤

He was and is an incredible artist, musician, singer, songwriter, arranger, composer and performer. Prince was and is one of the greatest artists we have ever have been gifted on this earth. @@theteleisewilliamsexperience No I don't think that, I was just commenting what I know that's all. I don't profess to be some kind of expert on Prince. Prince is my favorite male artist. He is a pure musician who wrote, produced and played every instrument. His hits ranged from ballads,,jazz to funk but he was the master of sexy songs. My favorites is no order: Head, Let’s Work, HouseQuake, DMSR, Adore, Insatiable, Damn U, Somewhere Here on Earth, Scandalous, Erotic City, Beautiful, Loved & Blessed, Breakfast Can Wait, Push It Up and Strollin’

I was blessed to see his Lovesexy tour in 1990...and two other times - including the 1997 Jam of the Year NY Eve show in Houston!

It amazing that for a track that makes you wan to move and dance, and yet it doesn't have a bass-line at all. Crazy. Great reaction. Cheers from Down Under;)

His guitar is insane. You should hear his insane guitar in the tribute hall of Fame performance of "while my guitar gently weeps"
