I can’t remember who I heard it from, but it’s something that has stuck with me for the longest time. I still struggle with over working and over blending so loving an area and keeping it the way it is, is so encouraging to me! Especially when I’m still in the “ugly phase” of an art piece.

@@BlackBeanCMS it will definitely stick with me now thanks to you:) Over blending is something I struggle with the most. I work with all mediums, I mostly do realism portraits and I'm always trying to achieve that super smooth airbrushed blend but I always go overboard without realizing and then have to basically start over because I lose the person I'm trying to draw. Definitely going to be using your "stop when its looking good" tactics hahaha. Thank you for reading my comment and responding! I really appreciate it. Gorgeous, I love both the pieces! Have you shown your are in a gallery? Out of all the KZbinrs I watch, you are definitely the most gallery-worthy. I just love your style! Though definitely my first thought on the first painting was, "That's a really small figure for Bean!" Still, you handled it well, and I liked the different approach with the whole body and the background.

I love the mood that is created by the colors and style! I know this is out of your comfort zone (as far as your usual colorful portraits), but I really like the way you're translating your style to the new subject. I can see in this piece the strongest aspects of your style, such as the way you handle form, eventhough it is different from your typical work. Bean! There are so many things about this video that I love! First of all I think it is awesome that you are on an adventure in Miami.
