My theory is Rayleigh and Shakky are his parents. Their ages match up. Look at Shakkys hair mixed with Rayleighs goateee. Shanks and Rayleigh were both on the Roger pirates. Shakky left Lily to raise a child with Rayleigh so she would not catch the love sickness.

Yoo I like your idea of Mihawk being a celestial dragon because it kind of connects to an idea I had about that. Mihawk's name is supposedly Dracule which is obviously based on Dracula a vampire, which is relevant because Mihawk shares things in common with Imu who I believe is related to vampire. Mihawk and Moria have vampire themes and give off a Imu type of vibe. (Fun fact: Dio from Jojo's is a vampire and Dio means God in Italian, The joestars are a clan destined to be at war with Dio. Similar to the D clan vs Imu) Vampires can't see their reflection in the mirror because the mirrors were usually silver which was said to be a pure metal. Silvers is Rayleigh's name. Dracula/Dracule Mihawk trained Zoro who is a demon, and Silvers/Pure Rayleigh trained Luffy who is a God. Pure vs Evil, God vs Demon Which solidifies the connection to Imu who is a demon (I believe demon vampire) vs Luffy the pure God, the natural enemy of a vampire is the sun.

Just my opinion. Is there possible if vampire n werewolf tribe exist? Can we say werewolf tribe is mink? And if vampire tribe exist, it should be nerona family. Disclaimer incoming TLDR The best theory i could muster atm on mihawk's past is that during the prior native hunting competition to god valley, mihawk's island was chosen and genocided but he became the first and only person to survive the full 3 weeks of the 12 god knights massacre at 2 y.o. The god knights or which ever gorosei was overseeing the competition became so impressed they invited him to become a future god knight. They betrayed Mihawk by killing a celestial dragon friend/lover of his and Mihawk fought Garling, lost and ran away. Mihawk sacrificed his humanity and emotion except for the lust of swordfights and has been training to beat garling and the god knights/CDs as a whole, throughout his edgy years he would fight any swordsman to hone hus skills and just so happen to run into shanks who reminds him of garling, they fought many times ending in draws becoming rivals and when shanks wasnt around mihawk would mess with the marines to get back at the CDs as he couldnt touch the CDs.When he got more jaded in life he changed his goals from getting back at Garling to defeating Shanks becoming WSS which is the happiest he felt in a while.He got the offer to beome a warlord shortly afterwards which he took he no longer cared bout revenge after achieving his goal agaisnt shanks and only wanted peace. On his warlord missions he became extremely bored taking care weaklings but came across shanks again and was crushed to see that he lost his left arm and didn't want to duel him ever again. Now mihawk had nothing to look forward to in life but just doing his job and living in solitude afterwards till he met Zoro which gave him his first goal in years. Ty for coming to my ted talk

The infos about Shanks are canon, Oda oversaw the movie and Uta even was added into the Manga in chapter 1055. It's just the movie events around the Tot Musica monster that aren't.

Just a FYI it's been confirmed mihawk doesn't have conquerors haki and mihawk is weaker then shanks when they faught shanks was probably 15 or 16 and mihawk was fucking 20 and still couldn't beat him but in a fight if a champion fight ends in a draw the champion keeps the belt why is mihawk so depressed why does mihawk search for strong swordmens because he feels like a fraud mihawks card just confirmed no conquerors haki
