There was an off Broadway show about Sylvester that was really good. They wanted to get it actually on Broadway, but I don't think the funding was available for it. I went to see it it and it was devine. It may be on KZbin.

@@eaqua56 ...he always said he wanted two large women on each side of him so that he could look slimmer...MARTHA has always told the story of he was auditioning for background singers and he had just finished auditioning two skinny girls and he quickly sent them home so she could audition....and after she had BLOWN HIM AWAY....he asked her did SHE....know of ANOTHER BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMAN that could SING....and she said she had just the girl...and she called MARTHA....and the rest is HISTORY....the thing that always moved me greatly was HE said that he took ONE LOOK at MARTHA....and HE KNEW SHE COULD SING...
