Can you tell me if this is a game ready chatacter? I'm learning to make characters for my game project but I just can't make a retopology that is viable. It always has too many polygons. This looks like a model made for a cg movie, but I'm no expert.

@@Rivershield It looks like FlyCat goes through an extensive retopology and UV unwrapping process for these characters, so they are very much likely game and animation ready.

A silly donut making video gets 8.8 million views and a character modeling video this awesome and detailed only gets 40k views. It's really unfair that deserving people don't earn anything on the 3D Modeling platform. But it's still really excellent, it's really detailed.

@Ifhydn9 ай бұрын
I’m new to this, why she did two retopology ?
@dasa23449 ай бұрын
I'm new as well but from what I understand, they did a pass of high detail topology to make a high level of detail model. Then a second low poly remesh that follows the flow of the high detail model. Then baked the details of the high detail model to the lower polycount mesh normal map. Its a method used in games so you have really high detail models but at really low actual polycount since the normal maps fake the details.
