Marie self-harms due to the trauma of what happened with her parents. Emma has somewhat of an eating disorder due to her mum being a pos. Andre struggles in the shadow of his Father and somewhat needs that validation from him. Jordan somewhat struggles with their identity due to their father being a passive-aggressive bigot. Sam struggles with his mental health due to something that wasn't his fault whatsoever (Parents gave him and Golden Boy Compound V). Kate's the only one I can't think of something from the top of my head. There might be something I'm missing but she kinda seems like a villain atm so maybe that's why 😂.

I think Jordan’s power would be the most fun to have. No negative side effects like with Emma or Marie and you get a bunch of super cool powers on top of it. -Force Push -Super strength/resilience -Super reflexes And switching genders whenever you feel like it is just a plus. You can experience the whole scope of human life.

"Gen V" is showing how corrupting Vought's influence is. Many of the students we've been introduced to in this series thus far seem to be decent people with typical problems young adults experience. Somewhere along the way, the culture Vought creates becomes an extremely corrupting influence where the adult version of that person doesn't remember why they wanted to become a superhero in the first place. Vought has a systematic way of breaking down people with good intentions into just a product to sell to the masses.

Sam has superstrength, beyond a regular supe. Remember how he threw a car and the big dents in his cell's walls and solid steel door? I also don't think he is schizophrenic. I think he has some psychic ability and that's why he hears voices. He contacted his brother psychically after all.

A few notes and theories i have: Emma is gonna be in a relationship with Sam, If you look closely before Emma went into the guards ear, she dropped her GPS which means its gonna be very hard to figure out where she is (I highly doubt they are gonna keep her in the woods too, probably a different place.), and im scared that once Sam finds out that Emma lied about Luke making her go rescue him, that Sam goes crazy or something because you know, Luke is dead. But hopefully he will understand why she needed to lie. Also: Considering Andres dad (Polarity) knows of the woods, im guessing all the teachers and faculty there know of it too. And i love how they didnt make Cate the mean girl, and actually made her look scared and mad at Andre after he told her, marie and jordan about how Emma is probably stuck. Really liking this show! Honestly didnt think i was gonna root for all the main characters in a show in The Boys franchise but here i am lol, they are definitely the nicest group of people we have seen in The Boys franchise in terms of heart and more. Probably even more heart than the actual Boys. I love them BUT i mean butcher isnt really the kinda person you would call nice lol.

I'm glad it seems like we are getting supes that are actually good intentioned and more heroic (atleast as heroic as degenerate supe kids can be at this point lol) I hope most of them stay like that. Sam comes of dangerous and crazy but u can tell he is a good kid when he is talking to emma..the mind control girl cate is pretty "responsible" considering how she could be a straight up dangerous menace if she wanted to..sure she uses it to do degenerate kid shenanigans but it seems like she is not the type to use her powers for ill intent. I think Marys power could be OP if she learns how to use them at the fullest potential..she could explode ppl like she did in the bathroom on accident, she could save ppl who are bleeding out, and I bet she can stop and elevate heart rates and do things like make ppl appear dead by slowing their heart rate and blood flow..hell if she got really good and powerful she has the potential to control anyone outright! humans are made out of blood and it rund thru the whole body, so who is to say if she got really good and controlling and manipulating her powers, she can in theory control pll like a marrionette!! Her powers seem gross and not very useful but only if u don't know how to use them properly..if u knew how to use them properly she has the potential to be one of the more powerful supes in the universe..hell if she can seperate compounds and the metal in blood (which is why I think the blood cuts like a knife and hit so hard! It's basically liquid metal) she can make melee weapons and blades/swords n shit out of blood!! Her powers on a higher level of proficiency is fucking dangerous! same as when Charles helps erik unlock his full potential, at a base level magneto van control metal but at a higher "college" level he can tilt the polarity of earth's axis n shit...same with alot of mutants in xmen, powers are one thing at base level, and some become omega level at higher proficiency..bloody mary has that kind of potential imo. Kitty pride is another great example, at bade level her powers are mid at best (phasing) but at a higher level she learns thst she can send ppl consciousness thru time!! Prof X could only read Minds for awhile in thr beginning until he realized he can actually control ppls minds and do all kinds of OP shit!

Unless I missed something, what is Cate on onehand not aware of any of the reasons why GoldenBoy killed himself, but seamingly also present for everything that went on with his brother? Seems to me she could be a plant that can control what he remembers and how he feels about things, so that he's kept in check. Which would also explain why she's getting close to Anders, and how she tracked him to save him from the guards. Could she be in on it? Also seems odd how her story about her brother was her telling him to walk through a forest and never come back, when the whole deal with Sam and the other prisoners is them being stuck in the Woods. Idk, I'm probably reading too far into it, but its hard to trust people in The Boys universe lol
