09:01 Actually, it's true. Deathstroke has never been accurately portrayed outside the comics. In all his other portrayals, he keeps being beaten by Batman, which rarely ever happens in the comics because Deathstroke far exceeds Batman's abilities and limits. In the comic, Deathstroke utterly decimates Batman plenty of times, though Batman puts up a good fight.

Deathstroke does actually have a fanmade video which is accurately portrayed on his abilities, should go watch it. It's called Arkham Assassins: Deathstroke. Anyway, in a Deadpool comic, he referenced the fact that a certain character (Deathstroke) could beat him.

I like how Eric how a wine glass with water, Aaron has a hidden jug off to the side, and Calvin is just stuck in the middle, thirsty as hell. Also, because of his body being ravaged by the cancer and then healing and mutating and healing and decaying and healing and so on...it has caused him to go crazy. Originally, as *just* the mercenary, Wade Wilson, he was actually very serious and straight-faced. When he became Deadpool, he went mad, which caused him to realize he was a comic book character and explains his carelessness and humor. He knows he's not real, so he doesn't care. (This is my only complaint for the 2016 movie that I've seen so far, as Wade is shown to be the funny guy before becoming Deadpool on the big screen.) And the teleportation belt was mentioned in his list of favorite toys and is canon from the comics. Also, it made for a super fun mechanic in the video game from a few years back.

Eh, I kinda like the change. In the movie he wasn't a complete joke before becoming deadpool, as shown when he dealt with the stalker. It makes it a bit more believable that after becoming DP, he'd be such a wisecracking nutcase.

Around 5:45 they showed in the video that Deadpool has a 'teleportation belt' but you guys were contemplating Deadpool's 'Fourth Wall Breaking', understandably so. It's funny Eric mentioned how he liked the voice acting, because the voice for Deadpool in this video is actually 'Takahata101' (another Canadian), one of the co-creators of Team Four Star who voices Nappa, Guru, Dende, Bardock, Cell etc. Just an extra reason I thought watching this would tie in with your other videos :-).

The idea is that in a battle of skill, Deadpool loses.In a battle to the death, he wins simply because his healing factor is much more absurd than Deathstroke's and he can alter continuity and pull out non canon items like the Carbonadium sword.

I'll explain why this matchup wasn't even a fair fight for Deathstroke. Not only can deadpool grow back entire limbs, but when he was turned to ashes by Thanos, he completely regenerated his entire body! Deathstroke may have a healing factor as well, but it was no where near as good as Deadpools. This means that even if Deathstroke chopped Deadpool into thousands of little pieces, he still wouldn't die. Deadpool also was nearly as skilled as Deathstroke and is so unpredictable that even Taskmaster couldn't predict his movements. Deathstroke never had a chance to begin with.

Isn't (wasn't?) the thing with Deadpool that the on-going battle between his cancer and his healing powers makes him look bad and be mentally unstable? And him being so mentally unhinged is what makes him "think he's in a comicbook," which is 4th Wall-breaking to us, but just insanity to everyone else he encounters. As for taking him seriously, one could argue you shouldn't, but some writers have handled him really well. My favorite example being Rick Remender's run on Uncanny X-Force, where Deadpool is recruited for Wolverine's secret black ops kill squad. Deadpool's long-time wish to be a superhero/an X-Man really shines through in that dark-ass series in a really heartfelt/-breaking moment where the team's having a rough patch and no one takes him seriously, yet he's the one who's got his shit sorted out the most.

Teleportation was the main reason why Deadpool won. He has a lot of skills but Deathstroke has a lot of skills that allow him to be better than Deadpool. The healing factor is something that gives Deadpool an edge but Deathstroke is far better by a long shot.

Cancer spreads through the cells process of copying, one cell has the cancer gene and will be copied over and over. With Deadpool he cells keep multiplying faster than the cancer can kill him. Just wanted to clear that up, more or less.
