@melaninrose69748 жыл бұрын
I lost 85lbs jumping rope. I do HIIT workouts which comprise of jumping rope example: 12 sets of 45 secs(jump rope). with 15 secs rest. I basically increase the sets every two days. sometimes I use body weight workouts (burpees, mountain climbers, skaters etc) in between the circuits. I love a good burn so I her creative with it. I also do 4,000 jump rope 3 times per week.
@shorea278 жыл бұрын
+Wendy Colthrust Wow, congrats on ur weight loss! How many jumps diju start off with before you reached 5k? I just started. I'm doing only 50 jumps in 10 sets and inclined pushups in between. Next wk I'll up it to 60 jumps. Jumping rope seems to be a lot kinder to my lower back and neck.
@melaninrose69748 жыл бұрын
i started with 500 a day then I increased it by the 2nd week. By week 3 I did 1,500 per day. In 2 1/2 months time I achieved 5k a day.

NICE!!! i'm down 10 pounds over the last 1.5 months. started out jumping rope and after 3-5 minutes i was dead!! i usually jump 3-4 times per week. currently at 20 minutes doing sprint jumps for 30 seconds follow by 30 rests (just regular jumps) after a 5 minute warm. never thought i would be able to workup to that after being dog tired after a few minutes at the beginning. i love jumping rope now

All of what you said I agree with and actually find hilarious. It's things you'll learn with experience but to be honest you clearly don't understand that I'm not in the least bit an amateur when it comes to skipping rope. I don't want to sit here and say I'm great but I have hundreds if not thousands of hours of practice and most of the exercises in this video I can do or already do on a regular basis. If stationary in a relaxed left to right bounce I can skip for nearly 15 min. without missing one single skip. You're preaching to the choir broski.
