I run Bluestuff with EBC grooved and dimpled rotors on the front of my vRS with Yellowstuff on the rear. Excellent around the Nurburgring. You do need to get through the first heat cycle before they resist fade.

I have a b9 audi s4 that I autocross every month and do about 1 trackday a year. Would you recommend this or yellow stuff? I was leaning towards yellow compound but worried that my vehicles weight may be too much for yellow.
@EBCBrakesUK
@EBCBrakesUK 3 жыл бұрын
Hi, they Yellowstuff compound would be a good choice for fast road however if you are going to be looking at doing some autocross i would recommend the Bluestuff compound. If you have any queries or would like some more information please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at < technical@ebcbrakesuk.com > Have a great day.

Hi Peter, yes bluestuff has a good cold bite but it is designed for track use/very fast road if you were going to upgrade for track use take a look at this video we did quite recently here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWSZeWluqZaXac0

I wouldn't recommend these for less dust. They're slightly more dusty than oem. As for braking they're a little better.

Only just thought of the blues,,,,, would these be better than yellows on a mk3 focus rs 400 bhp...... Fast road use...... The colour matching the car has nothing to do with my ocd 🤪

Either Blue or Yellow would work! They are very similar pads, however Bluestuff has a slightly higher friction rating :)

I have them and I go out for a ride and when I get home my wheels are full of dust, I have black wheels and the dust if crazy. I also run EBC crossed drilled and slotted rotors. They stop on a dime but the only negative at least for me is the dust.

The RPX it's good for everyday use and 3/4 track day for years? Or it's better the Blue? How is the cold bite? I have to choose for my Giulia Veloce TI Q4 280 cv, with scat downpipe and opf off, SprintFilter, Eibach ProKit springs and remap to 315 cv and 490 nm with 95 ron 😊 In the rear I put the Yellow because is the best for my stock caliper.. In the front I'm uncertain between Blue, Orange and RPX Thanks for your reply

@@EBCBrakesUK thanks for your fast reply :) I'm in Italy, and yes RPX are not legal.. But are not Legal as all track pads, like Ferodo Racing ecc.. I don't think it's a big problem.. The only thing is the cold bite, if is good or similar to the Bluestuff, I can try the RPX.. I try the Yellow in the front, it's not bad, but I want more aggressive pads 😁 Could be a good compromise Prx front and Yellow back?

@@RidingOut88 ya, there's not much support for the f90 braking. There's slotted rotors from Fella, the Korean brand but I cannot find any reviews. How long did your pads last? I'll do light track day a few times this year so I hope they can last until November.

blue or blue ndx for 2019 Range Rover SV Autobiography Dynamic? the ebc website specifically mentions Blue stuff for Land Rover but doesn't differentiate between blue & blue ndx. Unless red stuff would be better.

These didn't perform well for me at all. I had the RP-X on the front of my FK8 previously and they were unbelievable, but in sharp contrast, the bluestuffs are just not suitable for serious track use. I found my braking zones getting longer and longer as the day went on and they wore far too quickly. I wanted to like them but they just don't cut it. The RP-X on the other hand were perfect after a couple of warm up laps and hard stops. I cannot recommend them enough and just wish they were more available in Canada as well as better priced to compete with some of the Japanese racing pads I've tried. That being said I chatted with another driver that ran RP-X pads and he raved about them for his Golf R. Track Days? Use EBC RP-X period as they massively inspire confidence.

Hi! Thanks for the comment. Usually we would say Bluestuff is suitable for fast road use and then some track days, whereas our RP series and SR series are best for track, but aren't road legal. Glad to hear you like RP-X on track, you should try SR-11 or SR-21 next :)
