Put a brand new gas cap on and it went away for about a week and came back on again, guess ill try this next.

Had wet purge valves on my e65 turned out to be the notorious diaphragm change on both HPFP.

Mate they flicker if your using Chinese LED bulbs mate I had the same problem no need for a video mate just replace with good ones problem done

Dear Doctor. When trying to remove the purge valve, the pipe on the end of it going up to the manifold (perhaps?) appears and feels impossible to pull off due to the factory tight fit. Is it simply a case of pulling it very hard? I felt like it would break...

Hey Dean, quick question unrelated to this car. What is your take on removing the under belly of my e60? Will is cause any issues...I.e... gas mileage, drag,...etc.. I want to take it off to track a leak but I’m getting mixed messages from around the web. Thanks.

Mate don’t do it that’s to your stop water going into all the electrics mate if that gets on your waterpump that will end your waterpump its there for a reason it protects all the engine electronics and stops water getting in between the gaskets on the sump of water gets in your engine and you go through a big puddle you will hydro lock your engine so I would advise against it mate

So i’m having issues with refueling my 2011 328i xdrive e90, every time i press the gas pump it pumps for a few seconds and clicks, and the only reason i’m refueling is because the car told me that its empty, but literally it doesnt stop clicking and to fill up it takes me about a half our to 40 minutes. I’m wondering if its the vent valve or if maybe its the fuel neck that needs to be cleaned, how would i go about figuring out what the actual issue is so i’m not spending money on things that dont need to be replaced?

I had the codes P2401 , P2419,P1429 that pointed towards this Evap Canister being faulty but after rrplacement of the DMTL and characoal canister I still have the codes. The check engine comes back after a drive. Anyone have any help please?

If the purge valve fails or is failing cause a rich condition on both banks. My e90 n52 is getting a mixture control code and I figure it out. I've replaced coils and plugs, injectors, all o2 sensors, both vanos solenoid, reset all adaptations, maf sensor, coolant temp sensor, and I can't figure out. Sometimes I can smell raw fuel on start up and when I park. Driving me crazy. No other codes pop up. Always 09eo, and 09e1. Sometimes when I put the clutch all the in the rpms drop to like 600 rpm and bounces up to like 1,000 rpms and go back to idle. I haven't checked the fuel pressure regulator yet, but I really don't think that's where I'm problem lies. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Checked your fuel sending units? They both have plastic caps which get old and crack. Getting a whiff of fuel particularly just in front of the driver's rear wheel or signs of a leak down the back of the driver side of the fuel tank are telltale signs.

Hey I have a question, I have an 08 e61 n54. My idrive isn’t working, it doesn’t turn on its just blank, radio is stuck one station. I tried resetting it and check the fuses & nothing. You think I should check the modules in le trunk?

You will not have modules one the trunk if it’s 2008 That means your idrive system itself is overheating and it can’t keep up the chips need redoing

I have us version idk if it’s the same wiring, I did check the spare wheel well & I have like 4 modules I think 2 white ones and the rest black. By any chance do you know where to find a diagram? I’ve been trying to look at forums but couldn’t find any proper ones, only e90s

Edsel Giron you will not have modules in your boot the ones in your boot are for other things you should not have ANY modules in your boot if you do you have a older car then 2008 bmw moved them away from the boot and built Them into one module after 2006

Ok. I need some help. My car won’t start after it sits for over 5-6 hrs. After it starts up eventually and I drive it it’s fine. And will start up easy. Then over night. I go to start it and rough misstarts. Sometimes 2-3 key turns.

Yup just worked on my friends Dodge Dakota Evap and other problems. The hoses were cracked BAD. Been On CALL haven't been around trying to catch up been gone alot. Sorry Dean, 👌
