I enjoyed seeing Julie today! Good to see a ‘senior lady’ as opposed to the exercise videos with very young women. At 79, I do the exercises that Julie was doing, also work on a [Chuck Norris] Total Gym. Learned some good techniques nd better posture positions from seeing Julie. excellent video thank you...there is research showing that doing these exercises SUPER SLOWLY has higher benefits...Super slow lifting refers to slowing down your movements so that each rep takes 10 - 20 seconds to complete. This allows you to get a killer workout with much lighter weights than we're used to, which means you can push yourself to pure failure with MUCH less stress on the joints...this is probably beneficial for seniors

Makes a lot of sense. Thank you. Reminds me of a very beginning intro into Pilates class I took. I didn’t feel like I had done anything in the 75 minute class, BUT my triceps and abdominal muscles were tender for 3 days!

Finally got relief in late October having surgery, and over Christmas holidays got the green light from my doctor to get back in my routine.😊

These are all great exercises for us ladies. At 76 I have them all in my repertoire except the floor push up, even modified is a no go for my modified spine. People comment that I have nice arms and I were sleeveless tops for comfort but many won't as they worry about their arm being flabby. These exercises are easy to fit into a home routine.

I’m a female of 69 years of age. I do several of the exercises Julie demonstrated but at a much slower pace and by doing so get a better workout. I paid particular attention to Julie’s form and learned from that. I VOTE that Julie have her own channel.

I had my right shoulder replaced a year ago (12-14-2022), and I am wheelchair/walker bound, but I can do the exercise pushups against a wall!

An advantage of dumbbells is that they last just about forever. The first pair of dumbbells I bought were cast iron 15 pounders way back in the mid 90's; those must be getting close to 30 years old now. While their paint is getting a little chipped as they've gotten a lot of use over the years and I still use them regularly to this day, they still work at their job just as well as they day I bought them. I don't think you could say the same thing about 30 year old bands as I suspect they would have lost most, if not all, of their elasticity by now.

I love arm exercises when you put your arms up in front of you over your head and in plank position put away from the wall. I usey fingertips for an extra great workout. Palms don't give me the challenge I'm looking for.
