Ten years ago my wife gave me a gift certificate for a 1 hr professional massage and the massage therapist told me that I had the tightest muscles he had ever encountered in 20 years of massage! Although I had expected the massage to feel good it actually hurt but by the end of the hour I was so relaxed that I couldn't get off the massage table for about 10 minutes. Having always been plagued by muscle and tendon injuries I've been watching Bob & Brad videos for weeks in hopes of finding relief. I purchased one of their mini massage guns last week. My doctor had encouraged me to try one of these massage guns to treat a frozen shoulder so I started there. There are simply no words for how impressed I've been with the effect this massage gun has had on my tight muscles! My calf muscles in particular are so tight that when I first touch them with the massage gun it's like an electric shock. But I have learned how to use a very gentle back and forth movement with the air head for several minutes and bit by bit they begin to relax! At that point I gently increase the pressure while still sweeping the head back and forth and eventually the muscles relax to the point where I can start bearing down a bit. By the time I am done (around 15 minutes) the muscles are completely relaxed! I have really severe rheumatoid arthritis in both hands and had worried that I might find the massage gun difficult to hold and maneuver. But the mini massage gun has been a joy to use as well as so quiet you can hardly hear it. A huge Thank You! to these two guys for their excellent videos and a great massage gun to boot!

How many have pointed out the typo? :) This is very helpful for me, I just unboxed a massage gun and tried it for the first time tonight. It helped with some knee pain--we will see tomorrow what the ultimate result is. If it comes back I will need to find a real-life physical therapist....

I have the mini (the regular was too powerful), and one way I use it is on level 1 with the fork head on its side (like Bob demonstrated the cross-fibering on his leg). I use this at the base of my head and back of my neck. I know you say not to use the massage gun on the neck, but doing it this way, it isn't jarring into my head, but massaging it where I need it.🙂

To sum it up: - the massage gun is primarily for the muscles. Not advised to be used over neck/on head - usage and intensity setting depends on your body type and how deep you want to get into the tissue - try not use it on bones and tendons *like this comment*

Hi guys I have 2 of yours and love them when they are useable. Mine the metal section that holds the tips in place gets very hot and tips just spit out. I was using on my neck and ended up having the metal hit my skin and was very hot. Not what I wish to happen. Hope you monitor this as the manufacturer needs to know this and I tried to message them through where I purchased but no response from direct message nor through the online store.

Hi, I had similar issues...mine actually melted, and the replacement unit started exhausting smoke. I contacted the seller agent and talked with a rep in.both cases. They need to.know this. Also B & B have a customer service section of their web page.

@Ps1 they contact me and sent me replacement heads then later new units but the problem reoccured so not sure they want to solve it properly as there isn't anything to lock the tips in place like the metal tips that screw in which I haven't had any issue with. I did notice a difference in the motors losing strength after 2 months of regular use and I am not strength due to a mitochondria issue so I don't out alot of weight behind usage. But yeah it's decent brand would like the next models to address these issues.

Maybe someone can answer this for me, because I can't find anywhere on the web that answers this question. Are the massage gun heads universal in fit? What I mean is can you take the massage gun attachments from one gun, and will they fit on another manufacturers gun? Is there a standard size, or are they all manufacture specific in size? I've seen where you can purchase bundles of heads, but will they fit most guns?

I just bought the large massage gun and tried it out. It's a little heavy for me - which of the guns would you two recommend as a replacement? I'm 69, very slender and have degenerative spinal issues with chronic musculoskeletal tension and pain. I liked the results when using the gun but it was hard to hold for a long time. Hopefully Bob and Brad will answer you, but here is my experience. I tried Bob and Brad's regular and mini massage guns as well as the handheld white massager. The regular one was too strong in force beyond the first and second levels. Personally I like the mini the best. It is like the regular one but smaller (more light weight) and more gentle. (I'd say level 3 is like level 1 on the regular.). Personally I didn't like the handheld white massager because the heads were hard plastic and not comfortable. Plus it was bulky and didn't have places to store all the heads. (I love the compact storage case the mini massage gun comes in.)

I am 75 years old and have suffered from severe arthritis for many years. My hands are badly deformed and I have very little grip strength. That said I recently bought their mini massage gun and it is easy to hold and manipulate as well as more effective in releasing tight sore muscles. I just wish I'd purchased it last year when my doctor suggested a massage gun might be very helpful.
