Good explanation about the heads. What about the pressure you have to give to be the best productive?
@PTProgress25 күн бұрын
That will be highly variable from person to person and region. Short answer: Should feel comfortable and not painful as you work an area. Might be sore, but no need to dig crazy deep.

Got a massage gun for christmas, and it came with a bunch of attachments, but not the last one you covered. Mine also came with the shovel one, which i like to use to move blood around, and a shoe looking one with a pointy tip which i have no idea how to use. It also came with an attachment that look like its perfect to go up and down the leg, a wide U shape one. Are attachments sold seperately? and how do you use the shoe looking one?

People neeed to know that overuse can cause bloodclots and anuerysms. Also using it on superdicial arteries and veins can as well. Only use in areas that there is no pulse.

Thanks Tim! Regarding soft heads, I want a material firm and bouncy with more solid effect but not hard plastic. my gun has foam balls which I find too soft and have very little effect. Is EVA or silicone balls/flat heads better? I can order them separately. Thanks.
@moncyliu99Ай бұрын
Thank you so much for this information. The instructions that come with my gun are not very specific. Do you know if it's ok to use massage oil with these attachments? Especially the foam ball? I'm not sure if it will be easy to clean afterwards 🤔

Definitely not with the foam ball. I would avoid adding oils at all to be honest.

Smaller bullet heads are excellent for trigger point release in the neck shoulder area. Seriously go for a COMPACT massage gun y'all... Your arms and shoulders (and wallet from wasting it on a standard cumbersome one that SHOULDN'T be indicated for self massage for anyone except big men who can hold that thing like most would a compact (but even then... A compact model is easier to use) will thank you later. The one I use as a slim petite female is "comfier". It's easy for me to use without strain or muscle lethargy (further aggravating or prolonging the process of getting as much stimulation to that relaxed muscle as tolerable. Use massage oil obviously, that'll make it a lot less resistant to pressure. I find the soft attachments do sweet f all. But massage is like plowing the fields to me , I'll go over the problem areas over and over until I can focus in on the point of origin, trigger point, and I might not have that thing on max intensity (although I have... When you could bounce marble off your neck/shoulder intersection region because you've been so sewed up tight... Gentle massage, yeah no. I gotta use a bullet head with plenty of oil (ideally in a heated bathroom) and resort to the desperate platonic satisfaction of repetitive trigger point stimulation. I know, it's the terminology. Perform or manipulate "Self release"......

Which gun head is good for the scalp?
@Bishop01513 жыл бұрын
Almost all, if not all, massage guns will have a warning that you should never use them on your neck or skull (scalp). They are for soft tissue massage only. Apparently the use on the neck is uncomfortable and can result in nerve damage. There's just no soft tissue to massage in the scalp, at best you will just give yourself a headache.
