Bobby Brown Thought His Relationship with Whitney Houston was Like Beyonce & Jay-Z! (Part 35)

I'm back at it again with another tea-filled book review involving the late legendary Whitney Houston's life! This time I am comparing Bobby Brown's books to both Kevin Ammons and Robyn Crawford's book. Kevin Ammons was a disgruntled employee of Whitney Houston who wrote the first tell-all book of Whitney Houston's life in 1996. It is assumed by most people on this channel that most of what he wrote wasn't necessarily wrong -- just exaggerated. For those who don't know, Robyn Crawford is Whitney Houston's ex-girlfriend, former employee and childhood friend. Their relationship came to an ultimate blow and downfall during Whitney's insane flight with R&B Singer Bobby Brown. Robyn has been portrayed in various movies and documentaries over the last two decades. With Robyn coming out with her book, it left fans of Whitney Houston with questions and tea. I want to get down to the truth so I decided to pair up all four books to see what we can equally draw out of both. Who is telling the truth about Whitney? Do we really know her?

In Bobby's defense, Jay Z made the same comparison in song with Beyonce called Bonnie and Clyde. The line goes "...How hard she rides with me, the new Bobby and Whitney." In a way its kind of true both relationships are considered to be iconic, in that they are referenced in pop culture a lot. It's just that Whitney and Bobby were a lot more dysfunctional in public.

One of the reasons Beyonce and Jay Z work is because they are both successful in their own right. Bobby was at the top of his game when he married Whitney and took two years off to join her on tour. (Wrong choice!!) . During this time her career skyrocketed, his went in the opposite direction. Jealousy/boredom most likely made him act out.....arrests, drugs, cheating etc

BOTH. I suspect that Nip & Mike have created a PRIVATE HEAVEN for themselves, here on Earth. I don't believe that either of them are really dead but they wanted the world to believe that. Why? Because they knew that if they had shared their relationship with the whole world, the media would've constantly EXPLOITED and HOUNDED them, which would've RUINED their retirement. C'mon, even you must understand that, right? Since they were RETIRING, they didn't wanna live in the NOSY, INTRUSIVE media spotlight anymore. But they knew that they couldn't just STOP performing and expect the PEACE and PRIVACY they wanted. But if they FAKED their DEATHS, then SNUCK OFF into RETIREMENT, that would SOLVE their problem. If drugs infidelity and leeches were kept away they would have definitely not only remained together but they would've been THE most iconic pop couple that ever existed. They were both very talented if only they would've been focused on their craft and marriage. Honestly Whitney was bigger than Jay Z and Beyonce combined. Adding Bobby would have been the icing on the cake had he treated her right.

As far as we know, Nip & Mike never ended up together. I believe they're now living their lives beyond their careers, in RETIREMENT TOGETHER, as a HAPPILY MARRIED COUPLE. I suspect they FAKED their DEATHS, then SNUCK OFF into RETIREMENT! Hey, I know that we can't change the past. But as a devoted Whitney fan, I never wanted her with Brown---not in MARRIAGE. She should've just did what all of those other famous, wealthy women did with him---hit it, then QUIT it. He would've been fine. But look at what ended up happening to Michael after she married Brown. I honestly think that Whitney and Michael were supposed to be MARRIED to EACH OTHER---not to other people. As it incredible as it potentially could have, I believe a relationship with Whitney and Michael would have been a circus. Can imagine the chaos and hoopla that would have occurred if the two were together; they would never have been able to go out anywhere. There relationship would have been scrutinized by the relationship. I think the added pressure would have been very detrimental to their well being. It would have either been the greatest story ever told or a nightmare. Most likely a nightmare. As much as I love MJ, I don't think Whitney would have been deal with the effects of Michaels childhood trauma (peter pan complex and all). She had her own demons to battle at the time.
