I was just thinking how relaxed you looked when driving from the site at beginning of vlog, even using one hand to steer 😊, then a little way in to film saying how much you enjoy driving the Ford, you might not notice, but the smile on your face shows it.

Stumbled across your channel a few months due to our love of Scotland and became hooked, ended up binge watching ever tour and have now finally caught up. Love watching you guy's, and little Poppy is such a character and Tara is so adorable. Enjoy the tour. P. S, I don't even own a motor home but just love your adventures. Neil & Jo

This is one of our favorite sites, nice and peaceful however you came off at the wrong turning, you’ve taken the narrower road, you need to carry on to the next turning following the brown caravan sign, the road is more open and a little wider.

OK, thanks for that, we'll watch out for that next time.

Interesting site, haven’t been to that area for some time but went a lot when younger. The top end looked nice. Allonby is nice just above Maryport. Whinlatter worth a visit from memory. Also the pheasant Inn was always nice (you past it near Bassenthwaite Lake on the A66. You can’t beat the autos can you. Enjoy your break - all the best, David & Rachel 👍

Bob referring back to your previous video regarding your sat nav Could you try fitting into the bracket, with the bracket to the sat nav on if that makes sense. This should give you a bigger frame for bracket to grip. Just a thought. Any way enjoy your selfs you have given great review so far 👍

Thanks, yes I managed to do that, the Garmin friction mount fits onto the phone holder in it's horizontal position.

Glad you fixed that annoying rattle Bob, lets hope more sites take up the idea of an agility coarse much better than just a boring walk around the perimeter, those new drinking glasses look really nice 👍

I wish more sites would adopt this sites policy, there's nothing more annoying than struggling to find a suitable pitch to accommodate your motorhome because all the longer pitches have been taken by VW size camper vans / 115 size motorhomes! I haven't driven the Ford automatic transmission so can't comment on what it's like but we have the Fiat 9 speed automatic transmission and it's brilliant!
@BobEarnshawMoHo2 жыл бұрын
They had reserved just one pitch for longer motorhomes, which was handy for us. I've heard good things about the Fiat 9 speed automatic.
@TimmysFavs2 жыл бұрын
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Nice they had reserved you a pitch Bob. I know most sites are first come first served but very often it's pot luck! So far so good with the Fiat automatic transmission. We only took delivery in December & apart from the drive home from Chichester hadn't driven it much until now having completed a two week tour of Scotland but the driving was effortless.

Hi Bob and Jenny just wondered how you get on with the netgear nighthawk with your fire stick in places like the Lake District where sometimes the signal isn’t that great which network do you tend to use ,do you ever have problems not being able to run the fire stick with the netgear on your travels thanks and enjoying all the videos 😃 oh the coast 2 coast path is a long distant path created by the great Alfred Wainwright
@BobEarnshawMoHo2 жыл бұрын
Didn't have any problems in the Lakes, but struggled to get a decent signal at Loch Lomond.

Superb site. We visited last summer with our Autograph 75-2 and hadn’t realised there was a length limit - just scraped in there! Hope you enjoyed the stay in the lakes - or family hails from Workington and Maryport. Happy times up there! Liking your perspective on the Adamo so far! Safe travels - thank you both

Yes, we could only go there because we had the Adamo.

You need an intense training routine for those hounds. Just thought to add as you're coming to Sussex a soon, no doubt you've got your site's sorted already, however I know you like peace & tranquility, so I know of a site on my delivery round at Keymer/ Hassocks which is near to Ditching. This is the Southdown caravan park, just in case you're interested. Also if you're lucky you might catch the end of the Rhodadendron ( spelling could be iffy) season in & around the north of the county especially around Handcross & surrounding area. Literally avenues of colour for long distances.

It would have been nice if the tow bar had been fitted to see how the auto handles your up on the back.

This motorhome can only tow up to 750kg, so I couldn't tow a car with it anyway.

I will say I'm glad you're enjoying the automatic gearbox on your motorhome, but I can assure you they are a different matter on our trucks. I drive a 7.5t DAF auto and it's bloody horrible. Go to pull out from a junction for instance & 2/3 seconds later it starts to move, so you can understand my aversion to them. Maybe smaller vehicles are more responsive?. We have several times hired them in Canada, but the distances are greater and the roads much bigger 😁. Hope you are both well & look forward to your trip down south 👍
@BobEarnshawMoHo2 жыл бұрын
Not noticed any delay when pulling away, quite the opposite.

Love your vidoes - Just wondering what the fuel tank size is and how many miles to the gallon do you get with the Ford and is it more thirsty than an manual drive?
@BobEarnshawMoHo2 жыл бұрын
Getting around 25.5mpg, slightly worse than a manual I think, but it's not done many miles. The tank is 80 litre capacity. I will be reporting on fuel consumption at the end of our tour.

If we did get another van, it would definitely be an auto. We changed our car last year, and had an auto. Would never go back to a manual now. The technology in them now are light years ahead of how they used to be, and economical, changing gear at the optimum time etc. Would you consider this Motorhome as the next one for you guys ?

Your “arriving at” videos are brilliant. The C2C had me thinking though until it suddenly clicked when you said west to east 😉 We liked the Ducato Variomatic gearbox but the new gearboxes are much better. We have the 8 speed auto in the VW with stop start which is just a dream to drive and I am sure the Ford is similar 😃🚐 Trev
