Thank you! I have been looking for Qigong routines for Parkinsonism and am grateful to have found this one although I have been diagnosed with Parkinsonism, rather than Parkinson's. For six weeks i have been doing Qigong routines for about an hour and a half most days in order to slow the progression of my Parkinsonism as much as possible. I try not to do the same routines two days in a row. It isn't as beneficial to fill up an hour and a half with with short routines as it is doing longer routines. I am guessing that some other people also might appreciate longer Qigong routines addressing Parkinsonism and Parkinson's. Regardless, thank you!

Sifu Bohdi says people with Parkinson's should be grateful for something or everything. This puzzles me. Since all he knows about his viewers is that they have Parkinson's, what about having Parkinson's does he think they should be grateful for?

I think the idea is based on the principle of positive thinking. Kind of like trying to see our cup as half full rather than half empty. Of course this doesn’t take away our physical or external difficulties but it does change our relationship to those difficulties. For instance, we could see that we have Parkinson’s disease but at the same time be grateful if we have a kind person that helps us with it in someway or other. I hope this helps you

@@yesherabsal6221 I have one of the Atypical Parkinsonisms. I have a hard time not resorting to escapism rather than facing the progression of symptoms and the lack of understanding of the disease by medical professionals. Being thankful seems like it would be escapism.

@@yesherabsal6221 I am not grateful that because of my Atypical Parkinsonism, I fell and cracked my head open earlier this month. I am grateful that complete strangers immediately came to my aid and that the ambulance arrived right away. I am not grateful that I fell.

@@yesherabsal6221 I believe it would be more helpful if he recommended ways to help people facing futures with terrible degenerative diseases with no known causes or cures. Most people wouldn't suggest gratitude to someone watching their house burn down, but some seem to suggest it when other people are facing horrible futures because of uncureable diseases which is far worse. I am guessing that they refuse to believe what they haven't experienced themselves.
