Compartmentalization is a skill, especially in the medical arena,..for example; emergency room triage, organ transplantation, Brain Surgery, you have to be able to conduct yourself professionally while surrounded by unending distractions while simultaneously fully engaged & focused upon your commitment. I hum the intro for The Muppet Show. It really helps me reign in focus on a precision level.

The guy is right. You do remember the “ smell of death “. Humans smell different than animals when decomposing. It’s a sweet pungent aroma that you never forget once you smell it. I remember my first case of advanced decomposition. It was in August and the guy was found outside and was dead for about a week or so. I couldn’t eat rice for a couple years because of the tens of thousands of maggots. No lie. 😳🤢🤮
