I have recently discovered these meditation practices after a couple of years of Buddhist meditation practices. I am so grateful to practice the body scan and loving kindness practice of Jon Kabat-Zin.

Excellent!!! Thank you very much!!! 🙏♥️ For Those who wish to listen to the meditation at a slower speed, I suggest that they configure it from the video itself. There are various playback speeds. Find the one you like the most!!!!😍😍

I am in a cognitive behaviour group to help me with the feelings of anxiety I experience and your name has come up in our sessions. This was an excellent meditation. I did feel like I was drifting off a few times but it was a wonderful feeling to be this relaxed. Now it is my homework to not judge my experience. Thank you very much for sharing this. 😊🙏☮️

Thank you so much for sharing! It is excellent. But here is a totally histerical remark: you know, it is very embarassing to confess this, but that bell in the beginning truly hurts my ears...I wonder if there is a reason why it has to be so high pitch...Himmmm. Very sorry for this stupid question. But I really was wondering...
@MsMarcello1356 жыл бұрын
there are no stupid questions :) this was even a good one!
@mrtambourineman61075 жыл бұрын
My girlfriend usually moans at me about the bell sound so is a great start to meditation and my awareness of origins of emotion in myself and how they may arise. I think you may use it for a similar purpose perhaps
@IvyBarger5 жыл бұрын
I don't think this is a stupid question at all and definitely not hysterical! If you like this meditation but the bell in the beginning doesn't work for you, maybe you could just save the URL of the video starting after the bell? kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXW3nnqqr9OUmJY
@amytaverna57204 жыл бұрын
It should be during it so you don't fall to sleep!!
@bfotland5702 жыл бұрын
Lua, not a stupid question at all. The bell bothers me also - counter productive for me, in opposition to the wonderful scan. Some bodies, nervous systems are beautifully sensitive, and would naturally be activated by this sound.
@_nicetunes27904 жыл бұрын
This is definitively speed up. His original voice is lower and this feels very rushed. Check the other 45min version and you know what I mean. That's a pity because some variation would be welcome.
@monikam75025 жыл бұрын
how to meditate to it if i hear him non stop?
@Multiversalelevations4 жыл бұрын
Your tempo is so very fast. It would have been better with a separate video where John could talk about the body scan. Then a video with a slower tempo in his talk. Relaxation is invited by your slow guidance.

Bifurcated. Separates awareness/scan of left and right limbs into different steps. Commenting in case others, like me, have strong preferences against (or for) this technique.

I love meditating but for me personally I found that this particular meditation contained too much talking that it was difficult to focus.
@GGT9504 жыл бұрын
The 45 minute one is slower. & more detailed. More complete
@Milnjed3 жыл бұрын
Because it is actually an explanation of the body scan meditation method. Once you mastered it, you don't have to listen it again.
@ruzickaw4 жыл бұрын
Nothing practical. Just jumping around in the body. Without any previous stretching exercises there Will bne no relaxation. Besides he speaks to fast. No relaxing cuality in his voice.

I am glad to have followed through to the end. I feel so relieved. It remains a regular activity for me . Thank You.
