Regarding any changes in my weight or body - PLEASE remember that I'm a human being, I'm living in this body you are so casually critiquing, and I have feelings. I've had a rough couple of years with a chronic pain condition that I just haven't been ready to talk about yet. I know I look & move differently right now...Don't think that I haven't noticed. My whole life changed, but I can tell you that the last thing I am preoccupied with, is my bodyweight. Right now, I'm feeling the best I have in over 2.5 years. I am very grateful for that. I'm eating really well, working out smartly, and doing everything within my power to stay healthy, and continue healing. I do not care what I look like on the outside - all I care about is feeling the best that I possibly can. This is apparently what that approach looks like on me, at this moment. It will likely change again in the future. Honestly I just wish that we were altogether less obsessed with what we all look like, how much weight someone has gained or lost. I AM MORE THAN MY BODY. SO ARE YOU!! For a literal decade now, I've encouraged you guys to focus on making choices that make you feel good, over the way your body looks. I've encouraged you to watch your self talk, and to try to speak to yourself the way you would a friend who you loved very much. I would appreciate it if you could allow me the same during what has been a very challenging time. I am healthy, I am happy, and I am gaining my life back. That's where my focus is. I started fitness blender in 2016 and I lost 50 lbs. After 3 kids I was back to my weight in highschool. Unfortunately I didn't have the mindset you have pushed for me to have. I focused only on my appearance and not on all the strength and energy I had gained. I gained the weight back because I could never be truly happy with myself. I started a month ago and this time around I'm making sure to listen to your advice and love myself and who I am. I no longer want to worry about the number on the scale. It's so sad to see just how unkind people can be, most of them would never walk up to someone they don't know personally or even to a friend & say the disgusting things that they do online. I came back to my fitness blender workouts today because I am still recovering from a motorbike V car RTA 8 months ago that left my husband & I in hospital, me for a week him for 3 weeks with life changing injuries & we were only going 18 mph ( the car driver wasn't paying attention). Anyway I knew I'd find a workout suitable enough for me to manage with Kelli & I found this one & yes I noticed she looked a little thinner, but I wouldn't dream of commenting on it, I don't know her reasons & it's non of my business anyway. Welcome back Kelli, I wish you a speedy recovery & love your workouts, I find the pace is right for me (I'm late 50's) & I have always liked the reminders on form etc in all the workouts really helpful. x

This was exactly what I needed today, a short cardio workout that wasn't too intense. I still worked up a sweat and feel like I did a good thing for myself while stuck inside. Life ebbs and flows for us and everyone around us; for most of us it's invisible to others. If anyone is struggling with compassion toward others, try a befriending meditation. Even one works wonders. ♥️

Kelli, I’m sorry that you were upset by some thoughtless comments. I always say that what comes out of a person’s mouth is really something they are going through internally (paging Dr. Freud....🙄). And unfortunately, everyone else has to pay the price! Personally, I haven’t really paid attention to how you look (and I honestly don’t see much of a difference from the years that I’ve followed the channel.) I’m here to get fit and healthy. I used to do your & your husband’s more challenging workouts, but I stopped working out for a long while due to stressful family caregiver issues and some minor health issues. I am getting older too - hit the big 5-0! I’m looking to get back into shape now, and I appreciate gentler but still challenging workouts! I would like to put in a request for some more Pilates or other type toning workouts. And also, if you could consider just a few very brief (5, 10 minute) cardio workouts. I started working a new job from home, but I’m spending long hours sitting now at a desk. Brief cardio workouts would be great!! Keep up the good work, and stay focused only on yourself! ✌️

Do a lot of strength training (not cardio, it will make you lose even more weight) and count your calories. You must be in a calorie surplus if you want to gain weight! If you want to change your body, 70% is about diet and 30% about exercise. So change your diet first!

I would suggest at least scheduling your workouts just a bit. Try something like 2-3 hiit workouts in a week, and at least 2-3 strength training a week. Make sure to also include rest days. Make sure not to do the hiit workouts back to back because your body needs time to recover. Hope this helped

Krystal H when this video was posted earlier today, it was a barrage of people commenting on how they think she’s thin/too thing/“omg your weight”... a good dozen of the first 30 or so comments were all about her weight and not about how she’s back again for us or talking about the workout itself. Most of it’s died down by now but she pinned a message, which helped.

Krystal H I feel ya, girl! I think there are many reasons for it. 1. Anonymity creates a safe space for people to ignore their better judgment; there’s that “unleashed” and “free” feeling of just being able to say whatever without caring about how it affects someone. 2. Self-loathing manifesting via projection- people feel bad about themselves, so they take the opportunity to comment critically or negatively of others. 3. Misogyny 4. Cultural differences in what is and is not acceptable to comment on (weight being one of those topics)
