I can vouch for Justin he tuned a C7Z and a ZL1 for us (NY based shop) and he took the time to get them right . Tons of knowledge and honest dude. Took a while to get the tunes set up but anything worth having is worth waiting for….Great episode!!

Lol speaking about the ZF8 in the Hellcat, the Ford 10 speed is probably the worst shifting transmission I’ve felt at anything other than WOT when on the factory tuned. Lund tuned is the only way to make that trans feel decent.

@@reed785M yes, I’ve driven both the light duty and the HD “Allison” 10 Speed, the Ford one is noticeably worse.

@@reed785M the GM one isn’t perfect at all, the HD one is the best of the 10 Speed’s I’ve driven. My Ford one needs a KAM Reset monthly to keep it from clunking hard when going into Drive or Reverse, slamming the 4-5, or clunking when decelerating. It’s horridly tuned, until you’re foot to the floor and you see why it’s so fast. Meanwhile, my girlfriends 118k mile 6r80 is B U T T E R smooth, shifts firm when commanded, and has been very reliable.

Hey Coop, love the channel and the conversations you have, one small correction though, the 5th Gen Camaro was a Zeta platform, developed by Holden in Australia as a modular platform to underpin the Commodore. The 6th Gen Camara got the Alpha that was developed by GM for the ATS and was significantly lighter and I *think* had pretty significant differences in the rear suspension especially.

It’s still inferred flex which is not a very accurate way to do it. Sensed is significantly more accurate, yet you do have widebands so it is fine lol. Dang you GM

5th Gen camaro is NOT the alpha chassis. It’s the zeta chassis. Camaro didn’t get Alpha until 6th Gen (2016)

So stupid gm stopped with the short bed reg cabs with a v8 I just bought a ford and with a coyote I paid 37k I looked at a chevy short bed reg cab with a 2.7 no carpet and it was 45k no V8 wtf

Widebands are on the small engines for emissions and fuel economy. It keeps corporate Cafe standards where they meet to be. The flex fuel sensors are going away because ethanol subsidies are going away. Plus bottom line GM is cheap

@@JustinWhiteTuned9407 all of the manufacturers, are certain vehicles super efficient so test the trucks and sports cars don't have as much effect on the fleet average. That's how the epa does it, C.A.F.E (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) It's the government , so it doesn't make sense.

As an LT motor owners I'm a bigger fan of the LS motor. O-rings rather than RTV, cheaper fuel system, cheaper block and heads but I also like the look of the 6th gen front end. So there is a reason why people do this. I don't own a Camaro but if I did I was get a 2015 and face lift the front end to the 6th gen.
