Love your reactions! Classic rock has unlimited ballads and kicking songs that are amazing to hear and watch younger generations discover them. I was in high school in the early 80s. Great time to be alive. Oh, lol, and yes, a lot of us dressed like the rock stars, it was the fashion, so to speak. They, and, everyone else, just dressed like that.

This song was before my time, but I love it. The 1980s/1990s had some of the greatest music IMHO. But too bad you guys spent more time commenting on Bon jovi's clothing than on the actual song lyrics, though. The lead singer (Jon Bon Jovi) owns a non-profit highly rated restaurant in Tom's River, New Jersey called 'JBJ Soul Kitchen' in which people can eat for free, and leave donations if they wish.

Bon Jovi is one of the best bands from the 80's , but if you want to hear the best band ever . You need to check out Def Leppard . Def Leppard became the best band ever on December 31st 1984 , when one of their members had a near fatal car wreck & even though the band was the next big thing to Michael Jackson . The band members decided to walk away from music until their band member could come back or came to the rest of the band & told them that he couldn't do it anymore & to replace him . But fortunately he was able to come back & till this day he's still in the band . The album that they released in August of 1987 is one of the greatest selling albums of all time . And it still holds a record today & that record is . From August of 87 through October of 88 that album had a total of 7 singles on Billboard's top 100 count down & 6 out of the 7 singles were in the top 10 . Here's one of the songs that was at #4 & towards the end of the video you'll see the member that had the car wreck . Love Bon Jovi and, yes, Jon is gorgeous. He is also a MAJOR philanthropist.\, sheltering and feeding the homeless in the Philadephia area. The incredible background vocals and lead guitar are those of Richie Sambora, wh also cowrote all of the songs.

I dressed like Jon and like Rikki Rockett from Poison depending on where I was going. Just everyday activities, Jon. Going out to a bar or concert, Rikki. I had huge blonde and pink hair. I don’t know of any pictures of me from those days because film and processing was expensive so we always spent our money on tickets to shows or “party supplies”. Edit to add that the clothes and makeup were really expensive too so buying a camera wasn’t in the budget. 3 or 4 big cans of Aquanet purple every week was a big part of the budget for a 16 year old back then.

Check out songs Have A Nice Day, All About Loving You, Born Again Tomorrow, Make a Memory, This House Is Not For Sale, Every Day, and One Wild Night for more modern Jovi. I listed all ones that have music videos! 😊 I'll Be There For You is one of the best ones from the 80s. Always is beautiful but the video doesn't suit it at all. Some of my favorite ones that don't have music videos include Complicated, Luv Can, Bullet, Who Would You Die For, Any Other Day, This Is Love This Is Life, and We Don't Run to name a few. 😂
