My dad use to play this song for my mom. When they renewed their vows in 1999, he played this song and said he dedicated it to her.. We lost him in 2009. I was 18 years old. He and my mom had been married for over 20 years at the point. This was their song. She's now remarried, and happy but this will forever be their song. To those who have lost someone close. Whether it's a friend, a Husband, a wife, a child, an aunt, an uncle, a father, or a mother (You get it) They continue to be with us in spirit.

MThrow that is the sweetest thing! Today is my 18th anniversary and like 11others my husband is deployed to the Middle East. Just trying to get through the day without missing him too much and listening to our songs. Life of an army wife! I’m sure your wife genuinely appreciates that you play this for her. Music often speaks the feelings we can’t quite put into words ourselves. I wish you many more years together!
Lyrics : I guess this time you're really leaving I heard your suitcase say goodbye And as my broken heart lies bleeding You say true love it's suicide You say you've cried a thousand rivers And now you're swimming for the shore You left me drowning in my tears And you won't save me anymore I'm praying to God you give me one more chance, girl I'll be there for you These five words I swear to you When you breathe I want to be the air for you I'll be there for you I'd live and I'd die for you I'd steal the sun from the sky for you Words can't say what love can do I'll be there for you I know you know we've had some good times Now they have their own hiding place I can promise you tomorrow But I can't buy back yesterday And baby you know my hands are dirty But I wanted to be your valentine I'll be the water when you get thirsty, baby When you get drunk, I'll be the wine I'll be there for you These five words I swear to you When you breathe I want to be the air for you I'll be there for you I'd live and I'd die for you I'd steal the sun from the sky for you Words can't say what love can do I'll be there for you And I wasn't there when you were happy And I wasn't there when you were down I didn't mean to miss your birthday, baby I wish I'd seen you blow those candles out I'll be there for you These five words I swear to you When you breathe I want to be the air for you I'll be there for you I'd live and I'd die for you I'd steal the sun from the sky for you Words can't say what love can do I'll be there for you

Mine was during an emergency (careful how i spell this) caesarean, and the song was 'Don't Feel Like Dancing' by the (careful how i spell this) Scissor Sisters while awake. I told them that I could see everything in the polished reflection of the lamp above my head and they said as long as I didn't feel the cold stuff they put on my legs that I would be okay. Nice one though - they said my partner was not allowed in because if he saw what was going on he would pass out. He wasn't even allowed in to see them give me an epidural. Which was much more than I got the first time we had a child. That was when I had to wait from midnight to 8 o clock in the morning for the surgeon to come to measure me to see if it was okay for me to give birth normally because they had enrolled me in a programme called 'Term Breech Trial' which was where they call a computer in Canada to say which way your going to give birth and if it works out the hospital gets a big whole lot of money.

All of my favorite bands, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Tesla, Ratt, Def Leppard, Warrant, Poison, Bon Jovi, Wasp, Cinderella, Van Halen, Metallica, Judas Priest, REO , Kiss , Aerosmith , Journey and so on were all over MTV and the radio and it was awesome! @@alexcleroux3054 Well done Alex. I'm glad someone can see quality. I'm not saying everything from the past was good. To honestly some of it was really rubbish but most of it is rather good. Unlike today. Back then listening to music you could tell which decade it was from. Some bands and singers, their riffs or opening beats you could tell who they were. Today most of the music is studio manufactured feed. While the truly quality stuff is suppressed on the radio. I recommend if you like rock, the album power from 1994 by a band called Atlantic 😀👍

I'm 18 and I love this kind of music. Today is just full of the poisoned youth that only care about sex and drugs and naked women. As a young girl, I don't want to be looked at as an object. bon jovi was my dad's favorite artist and soon became my mom's too. They would crank up the speakers listening to his music when we clean the house and we'd all sing along. Even when my dad went overseas to work, me and my mom still listen to his songs. In days that I miss my dad, I'll skip school and help my mom clean the house listening to bon jovi. I'm all grown up now and my parents have separated. I skipped my class today to stay in bed wondering why I feel so blue. That's when it hit me, I miss him. I miss my dad, I miss how my family used to be when we were all together. This song comforted me so much knowing my dad was almost absent whole my life because he was working hard for my future. I know my dad would've love to be there for me.

This may sound really strange but this song just brought a tear to my eye. It was my high school prom theme song back in 1989 and I remember it like it was yesterday. Pass it along to your friends. I lived my teens in the 80's and the music was the best ever. Be a part of it making a comeback.

No tengo palabras para describir esta canción, simplemente cuando cada vez que la escucho lloro, Bon Jovi tiene ese don de trasmitir tantas emociones. Es sin duda la mejor banda del siglo pasado y en este deja sus huellas.

I miss everything about the 80s I'm 42 now (No social Media BS and treated each other with some Respect back then) When I feel sad or had a bad day, I listen to 80s music on KZbin, then go to google maps and search for places (at the same time put side by side minimize screens on the computer or listening in the background) I remembered happy and sad places when I was young, brought me a smile and tears, more smiles, then tears for that couple minutes, (I escape reality and feel happy how it used to be back then) How the places look different Now, but close my eyes, have always spiritual connection to the places and time, 80s music takes me there too exact place. (The only time machine I can think of without physically being there) 70s 80s were the best era. In Top 10 favourite songs from the band, My favourite album of the 80s from Bon Jovi is Slippery When Wet, But All of them have the have their classic, you can't go to the Bon Jovi concert and not hear I'll be there for you Live Top 10 favourite songs from the band, 1 Living' on a prayer, 2 I'll be there for you, 3 never say goodbye, bad medicine 4 Runaway 5 you give love a bad name, 6 born to be my baby 7 without love, 8 I'd die for you, 9 wild in the streets, 10 living in sin,

Though I was born in 1994, my daily life is incomplete without listening to the songs of Bon Jovi, Guns n' Roses, Europe, Queen, Air Supply, The Eagles, MLTR, Bryan Adams, and Scorpions. They really sing all about life.
