Speaking as a New Zealander, Tem Morrison has always tried to bring Maori fighting styles into this show. When He kills at the end, that face is often used in Haka when symbolising defeating the enemy - if you're a kiwi, you'd know it. The tongue out and the shake of the head while stabbing down. Go Tem. On the topic of Boba "remembering" he has a jetpack, I saw this theory that you actually need to have the helmet on in order for the pack to work, as a safety precaution. Hence during the fight in Episode 1 he couldn't use his pack, as he couldn't put his helmet on. The show even makes a point to show the helmet fall to the ground during the fight. In the first episode of Mando season 2, as Cobb Vanth is preparing to enter the fight with the Kryat dragon, he's shown putting on his helmet before his jetpack activates. We also never see any other mandolorians or clones or anyone else using their jetpacks without their helmet on, with the sole exception of Pre Vizla during his duel with Maul. Considering this is the only time that we see anyone do this, I'd say it's more likely that Pre Vizla's jetpack was modified to bypass that safety precaution. So it's not that Boba forgot he had a jetpack, it's that it wasn't an option at the time. (And yes, I know about the foot thruster things used by both Bane in TCW and Ezra in Rebels, those are very clearly different technology though, since they emit some sort of blue energy instead of a jet of fire, don't allow long-range flight, and are obviously mounted differently)
@faevoryn65782 жыл бұрын
This is a thought provoking idea! I bet Mandalorians are not keen on flying without helmets. I do recall Bo Katan giving Obi Wan a jetpack in the Clone Wars, and both of them flew without helmets in that scene. But I like your theory of Visla making a modification. Bo Katan was Visla's right hand back then. Maybe all of the Deathwatch crew followed suit...

I also thought the fight between Boba Fett and Cad Bane had some fantastic symbology for Boba Fett's growth as a character. Bane comments about Boba's armor and when the fight begins, Fett relies on his armor and blaster. These are iconic to the original character we know, and the same Boba Fett that Bane knows. When Cad Bane went in for the killing blow, he knocked Boba Fett's helmet off and in that moment we get to see Boba as vulnerable. He's no longer the masked badass but rather an emotional and complex character. Finally, it's Fett using the Tusken gully staff and the training he received from the Tuskens to defeat Bane. He used the tools and tactics he gained from his journey of growth - his newfound personality and strength - to defeat someone from his past. With the notion of Cad Bane teaching a young Boba Fett, this fight shows us Boba's growth from the silent badass into his evolution of an individual who is more than his armor while confronting the demons from his younger days. At least that's how I saw it.

I’m 26 years old. My introduction to Star Wars was episode 1 the phantom menace. Even though I was really young, I still remember going to see that movie in the theaters. I have an older brother who is also into Star Wars and if you ask if to choose between the light or dark side of the force we’ll say neither. We pick Mandalorians. Because if you want a force user dead, you call a mandolorian. So unlike a lot of those in my generation who are upset or don’t like this series of boba, I absolutely enjoy it. The series John has brought us has been extremely enjoyable and I can’t wait to see what more we’re gonna get! From a foundling, this is the way.

Once we saw the X-Wing coming, I think all of us wondered if Luke was going to end up joining the fight on Boba Fett's side. It's probably for the best because a few seasons down the line I could see Din Djarin summoning all his allied to help in a climactic battle to put Grogu on the throne of Mandalore (or whatever the climactic fight will be about). That's the point where Luke and Boba meet again. But there was a huge missed opportunity because we could have had Luke see Grogu stopp a rancor without even needing to hurt it. The master could have been shown up by his student.

Did it pilot itself to where it needed to be, or did she park it impossibly close only to retreat to a different location to begin her sniping? Also, when we have two shooters on the roof with one providing a "distraction" against a robot with 2 separate turret-arms why in the sarlacc are they on the same damn roof? Funny all your nippicking stops when the fights starts, that’s where all mine began, the fights were horrible tactics wise, they flew up to surprise the pikes only to land on the ground, and held up right in front of the canteen entrance to be surrounded, They could have one of them fly over them and be attacking them from both front and back to split their fire and make them easier targets, or splits up and fly in a circle above them while picking them off, which will make them really hard to hit since they are moving target flying above and make the pikes really easy targets since they are shooting them from above

Irrelevant we haven’t seen any on tattooine...also when he was riding him he had his helmet and full suit on so the rancor couldn’t see his face...I’m guessing that’s why mando tried to ride him when he was on the tower because he was the closest resemblance to boba with the suit and helmet shape. However the rancor quickly threw him off which tells me that it’s more than just a visual connection. Boba has obviously been training with him nonstop and I’m thinking a lot of it has to do with smell. Everyone has a unique scent. It’s like when your dog can tell it’s you before it can even see you.

The clones aged at twice the normal rate and the Empire scrubbed the program. So, most likely all the clones are dead but if any are alive, they would look twice as old as Boba Fett.
@yoursonisold87432 жыл бұрын
By the time of Rebels (so before A New Hope) first generation clones like Rex are already old men. Cut to post Empire and they are most likely all dead. They were created with accelerated aging intentionally so they would get rid of them after the war was done. It's a huge deal in the Clone Wars related media. Boba was the only perfect clone (aside from Omega apparently) who had no accelerated aging and no alterations to his DNA or structure. He is just a perfect copy of Jango Fett.

11:52 _“Just use your jetpack, dude.”_ There are many scenes throughout Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett where using their jetpacks preemptively would’ve been easier. However, you never see either of them use their jetpacks for more than a burst of a few seconds here and there, except when in a fully dire scenario (it’s not like you ever see either of them pleasure-cruising across the desert from one town to another by jetpack). That leads me to believe their jetpack fuel reserves are fairly limited (maybe 30-60 seconds of flight time total), and they’re trained to try to always keep some left in the tank for an emergency escape or life-saving maneuver. Their jetpacks are one of their ace-in-the-hole weapons- they don’t have a lot of it, but when all else fails it can save them. So I’d head-canon that they both try to deliberately use as little jetpack fuel and keep as much in reserve as possible- Boba Fett Ep. 7 and Mandalorian S. 2 Ep. 1 are probably the only two times we see Boba and Din respectively completely deplete their jetpack tanks (Boba’s mostly off-screen, returning to his palace in a hurry).

Reasons I like the Mod gang in episodes 3 and 7. 1. I like things that are unusual for Star Wars. It never had time travel before until towards the end of Rebels season 4 with the "World between worlds" Some could say that it feels out of place for Star wars. I loved it and the mods for being something different.. 2. I Really like Drash, the one with the red droid arm played by Sophie Thatcher. Not only do I think she is cute, she reminds me of a friend . I like how she uses her knife, how she drives her scooter, how she is determined to accomplish what ever it is that she wants to. She is a bad ass and she also reminds my of Jyn Erso from Rogue One. 3. I think that young people as a group has never been explored or represented in Star Wars before besides Younglings and I think it is about time they are. 4. Having the Mods in the show, allows the viewer to see things from a different perspective. we didn't know that there were not job opportunities. We need to see all different types of people on Tattoine, not just moisture farmers, gangsters, crime boss's, Jawa's, Sand people, business owners, Twi'lek slaves and musicians. Why can't we have teenagers or people in their 20's? Star Wars is for everyone, not just small children and men in their 40'sand 50's. 5. I like that the mods are cybernetically enhanced. I recently watched Alita Battle Angel and wished that they could some how do something like that in Star Wars and in Boba Fett episodes 3 and 7, they did! Droids parts on Humans is not new for Star Wars. Besides Fennec Shand and the mods, other Star Wars characters that were cybernetically enhanced are: Anikin Skywalker/Darth Vader Darth Maul in the Clone Wars Echo from Clone Wars/Bad Batch General Grievous Lobot-Lando's aid from Cloud City Luke Skywalker Savage Opress- Darth Maul's brother in the Clone wars Saw Gerrera in Rogue One =============================

Sides of Boba’s empire grapple and split between staying loyal to a murderous Fennec or staying loyal to Boba’s wishes of a Omega rule. A season long battle ensues culminating with Omega falling into darkness as she cuts through waves of opposition before making her way to brutally murdering Fennec Shand. The season ends with a pan out shot of Omega walking toward a ship, it’s the Slave 1. She enters the cockpit and dawns the Boba Fett helmet, season ends.

Did anyone notice that Krrsantan had a broken foot when it was revealed he was alive, but suddenly he is able to run/walk without a broken foot when running away from the Scorpenek

Yes. Acting was kind iffy there. Looked like his foot was going to fall off and then he ran. Later he got shoved into the wall. The two mods came to get him and then one had to do such an odd spin as the three perked up to shoot the Pike. Suddenly Krrsantan was ok but then after he sunk into the mods who were trying to help. Thought he could've used the one like a crutch.

@@123JWJWJW Black Krrsantan has been heavily modified (metal skeleton and knuckles) so... He would recover quicker.

I love my new tradition of watching these videos after a Boba Fett episode. There’s so much I miss and it just allows me to enjoy the show on a deeper level. Also, I haven’t seen all of the clone war episodes so it fills in some blanks

Did anyone else freak out when the scenes started to cut as Boba's team got betrayed? I love Kryssantan and the show made me like the Gamorrean Guards which I really would've never guessed! RIP green guys

The bit about the dome holding Grogu, there was something mentioned in the books years ago called "transparisteel" - that's likely what it's made of.
