Spend time how you spend your money. Be ruthless. Do you always find yourself with more to do in the day than you have time for? Is your list daunting? Do the hours seem to get away from you?
In this exercise with Pro Group member Peter Lam, Chris lays out the framework for an exercise that can help you set a goal for what you want to accomplish, get a better understanding of where your time is being spent, and help you clear the time you need in your schedule to get the things you need to do done.

I’ve been using the phrase “it’s all a trade off” since we got locked down in the UK in Jan. Homeschooling, running a business, staying healthy and feeding small people - every minute has mattered! Going to track this week to see where time exists to trade and see if there anything left. Easy to implement video guys! Grateful for your content. All the best Paul

Real truth Chris. I sold my TV, my PlayStation, and just about every distraction in my life. Invested all my money into filming gear, and chipping away little by little. Only way this was possible was by giving up all my distractions, and excuses.

There was once a businessman who was sitting by the beach in a small Brazilian village. As he sat, he saw a Brazilian fisherman rowing a small boat towards the shore having caught quite few big fish. The businessman was impressed and asked the fisherman, “How long does it take you to catch so many fish?” The fisherman replied, “Oh, just a short while.” “Then why don’t you stay longer at sea and catch even more?” The businessman was astonished. “This is enough to feed my whole family,” the fisherman said. The businessman then asked, “So, what do you do for the rest of the day?” The fisherman replied, “Well, I usually wake up early in the morning, go out to sea and catch a few fish, then go back and play with my kids. In the afternoon, I take a nap with my wife, and evening comes, I join my buddies in the village for a drink - we play guitar, sing and dance throughout the night.” The businessman offered a suggestion to the fisherman. “I am a PhD in business management. I could help you to become a more successful person. From now on, you should spend more time at sea and try to catch as many fish as possible. When you have saved enough money, you could buy a bigger boat and catch even more fish. Soon you will be able to afford to buy more boats, set up your own company, your own production plant for canned food and distribution network. By then, you will have moved out of this village and to Sao Paulo, where you can set up HQ to manage your other branches.” The fisherman continues, “And after that?” The businessman laughs heartily, “After that, you can live like a king in your own house, and when the time is right, you can go public and float your shares in the Stock Exchange, and you will be rich.” The fisherman asks, “And after that?” The businessman says, “After that, you can finally retire, you can move to a house by the fishing village, wake up early in the morning, catch a few fish, then return home to play with kids, have a nice afternoon nap with your wife, and when evening comes, you can join your buddies for a drink, play the guitar, sing and dance throughout the night!” The fisherman was puzzled, “Isn’t that what I am doing now?” by Paulo Coelho

Some days I work more than usual so I know why I was able to work for such long. So tracking time physically really working for me. 1. Treat time as currency literally. What consentraint would do you apply to time that you do for money. 2. Being busy is biggest distraction from your living. 3. Don't die living someone else's dream. 4. Consolidate the largest amount of free time. Spend it wisely. Make it a chunk. 5. Don't major in the minor. 6. Be frugal in time. OK to say "No"

Saying that I have one suggestion/ request: What do you think about making downloadable assets of Chris' whiteboards designs to try to follow this process at home? Hey Chris, I'm with you on quitting video games. They are soul-sucking and productivity-destroying. I feel drained of energy after playing them -- physically and mentally. I realized that treating work as a video game is much more rewarding. For example, computer programming can be turned into a problem solving/puzzle game. Life *is* a game. Why play someone else's contrived, rigid, digital dream?

hey chris, about the ikigai, i found smth i am good at and is in demand now, all i have to do is to practice and learn it (is a process of 2 months) i got 1 week into it and i love it, but before i hated it, but i had to miss out the other things i love (film making, instagram creation, photoshop edits and ui ux) for this one, i mean it will benefit ui ux part in the future, since is about the web 3.0, but i feel guilty about leaving other things behind, and also i felt in love with trading and economy subject, which i am going to have in college, but i also love this coding tech part and the creative part, and is hard to combine them all and learn them all, since i have a more or less intuitive sight on them
