So let me get this right. A refugee and known murderer can be released from an Australian detention, and commit an offense in a State or Territory, but cannot be charged or held under Australian law and takes months for the appropriate applications to be made for a Court submission before that individual can be apprehended. But the cops can find and handcuff a young pregnant woman in her own home who makes a facebook post saying she is going to attend an protest, and a 70 year old woman attending a protest is slammed backwards onto the asphalt and sprayed in the face twice with pepper spray cops, and cops can fire rubber bullets at their own citizens. Not sure about anyone else, but it seems in Australia refugees have more legal rights than citizens when it comes to Australian law.
