Boutique-Jam - First session with four boutiques - Tr09 / Tb03 / Jp08 / Jx03 (Riamiwo StudioVlog 28)

I added the Roland Jx03 to my boutique-setup.. this is the first jam with this awesome mobile-jam-setup :)

yes.. it seems that I have to use a multiplier to bring the trigger-signal of the Tr09 to the Tb03 and the BeatstepPro... in this setup the trigger-out of the Tr09 goes to the Clock-In on the BeatstepPro and the Clock-Out goes to the Tb03...

Can you explain the beatstep pro? Is it trigger out / clk in your using? I have similar set up of drum maschine and 3 boutiques, and deffo need to get a sequencer of some sort. I have tr8s, ju06a, sh01a, tb03. The tr8s can do trigger out, but an additional sequencer would be much more fun. We have different but really similar tech wise (drum device & boutiques) so I’m sure this same workflow will translate perfectly… Can u explain how the Beatstep pro is running regarding sequencing and clocking? Really enjoyed this. I’m looking potentially to get back into working with synths and drum machines. My biggest concern is portability and synchronization. I was using an mpc1000 as my my midi controller and sending midi sequences to trigger my instruments. With the boutique instruments, what are you using as your midi controller? Are the sequences programmed internally or are you externally controlling them?

I guess mono sequencing does not bother you... or can the bsp do poly sequencing after v2 firmware? Great tune

I used a powered USB-hub here, but this one was not the best quality.. now I'm using the Elektron OverHub and it works pretty well!

They sound like they look, small and tinny, this does not even come close to the original synths. You could get better sounds using VST plugins.
