Hi Jenny: It really depends on each case. That being said we always have a trail period (start and stop points often 4-6 visits). Then we review for functional changes. If it doesn't take that many visits then great, but we need to see positive functional changes. Cheers

Thank you for reaching out, @Doowopsid. It's great to hear the video resonated with you. While I can’t provide specific guidance online, I'd suggest consulting with a healthcare provider experienced in nerve compression syndromes for a personal assessment. If you’re ever in Calgary, our clinic, Kinetic Health, would be pleased to help (www.kinetichealth.ca). Otherwise, seeking a qualified physiotherapist, chiropractor, osteopath, or RMT locally training in nerve compression syndromes might heelp. Best of luck on your path to back to health!

Is there a possibility that i have tinnitus from this injury? 😊
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 10 ай бұрын
Thank you for reaching out and for watching our video on brachial plexus release. I value your engagement and understand your concerns. However, it's important to note that without a comprehensive physical examination and a detailed medical history, it's not possible for me to provide personalized medical advice or accurately assess your condition. Tinnitus can have many causes, and while it is less commonly associated with brachial plexus injuries, each individual's situation is unique. For a definitive answer and a treatment plan, please consult with a healthcare provider. Cheers!

can a pinched brachial plexus cause trigger finger?
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline 2 жыл бұрын
Hi softsunlight: I am not aware of a brachial plexus trigger finger correlation. Trigger finger most often results from inflammation within a tendon sheath, restricting tendon motion. Trigger finger may be more likely to develop, after a hand injury, especially after injuring your palm or the base of your finger. Cheers!

Our clinic, Kinetic Health, is situated in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. www.kinetichealth.ca I do understand that dealing with pain and limited movement can be quite challenging. @kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline Жыл бұрын
Hello @Umair23, Thank you for sharing your experience after watching our Motion Specific Release (MSR) demonstration. Persistent pain, particularly one that affects your sleep and causes weakness, warrants a thorough evaluation by a healthcare professional. While our videos aim to provide valuable information, they cannot replace a personalized physical examination, which is essential for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Your symptoms suggest that it's important to consult with a practitioner who can assess your condition in person and offer the appropriate care. Please consider scheduling an appointment with a healthcare provider to address the pain and weakness you've been experiencing for the past seven years. Take care.
@Umair23

@@kinetichealthonline thank you for your response. I been to shoulder specialists, spine drs had nerve studies done, did multiple mris of the neck and shoulder & they could not find the exact issue. Would you tell me what type of specialist I should be reaching out to? This sometimes unbearable pain comes and goes throughout the year.
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline Жыл бұрын
Hello @Umair23, Since you've already consulted with shoulder and spine specialists and undergone MRIs and nerve studies, you might want to consider an interdisciplinary approach. A pain management specialist, especially one with a background in neurology, could be beneficial due to their expertise in complex pain syndromes. Additionally, exploring options with a rheumatologist might provide insights into systemic conditions that can cause fluctuating pain, or an infectious disease specialist could consider less common diagnoses. Another avenue could be a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician (physiatrist), who focuses on non-surgical approaches to manage pain and improve function. They can work closely with physical therapists to develop specialized rehabilitation programs that might address underlying musculoskeletal imbalances or movement dysfunctions contributing to your pain. Lastly, consider consulting with a functional medicine practitioner who looks at your overall health holistically and may identify lifestyle factors or underlying health issues that traditional medicine does not always focus on. Remember, it’s important to continue working with healthcare providers to find the root cause of your symptoms and to develop an appropriate treatment plan.

Hi my daughter jas erb palsy she camt raise hand above hand does this help her to get movement back
@kinetichealthonline
@kinetichealthonline Жыл бұрын
Thank you for reaching out and engaging with our MSR demonstration video. Your daughter's condition, Erb's Palsy, is indeed a complex one, and it's important to approach her situation with care and a tailored treatment plan. While our demonstrations can offer insight into general techniques, they cannot replace the personalized advice and treatment plan that would come from a comprehensive physical examination by a healthcare professional. For conditions like Erb's Palsy, which can vary greatly in severity and responsiveness to treatment, it's critical to have a healthcare provider who can evaluate her specific needs and determine the most appropriate therapeutic approach. This may include physical therapy, exercises, or other interventions based on her unique circumstances. I highly recommend consulting with a specialist in pediatric neurology or a physical therapist experienced in working with pediatric brachial plexus injuries. They can provide the necessary guidance and support to potentially improve her condition and work towards regaining movement. Wishing you and daughter all the best.

HI Mia: No one can answer that question (or should not) until they have completed a full orthopaedic and neurological examination on the patient. 3 min 30 seconds in to the video is where I get nerve pain… right under the armpit where you are pushing. It happens at the gym while on the bench press as well as while doing pull ups I get this sharp electricity like feeling shoot down my arm through my fingertips. I also often get the same feeling from the anterior side of my humerus/radius kind of where the coronoid process of the radius and coronoid fossa of the humerus would articulate. I get this feeling while doing any motion where I flex my bicep. It also mainly happens when I am fatigued so at the gym I usually do sets until I feel that pinch and am forced to stop. Wondering if you have any advise or if I should be concerned? 23 years old and have been dealing with this for about 2.5 years now. This is the only thing I have been able to find on the internet addressing it!!
