you may not believe me but what if she's 125 y/o but she doesn't age, because how can such a young artist have this much musicality and depth in her performance? 😌

Beautiful performance, what else can be said about this incredible musician, just keep the good work like always and make other persons happy with your music, absolutely brilliant

I really like this performance. The tempo is right and she plays with a clarity rarely heard in Brahms performances, which I find especially convincing. No histrionics -- just Brahms musing to himself. Brava!

How refreshing to hear this interpretation - so clear, pure and like you say, no histrionics! I think all these years I have been put off learning Brahms because I associate it with men bashing out keys and wacking down the pedal and being bombastic but after hearing you play this and also Ruth Slenczynska, I am going to learn this piece!

I’m preparing this piece among others for my college degree recital, I have been playing piano for the half of my life. Your interpretation it’s one of the best I have found out there. Thank you for uploading 🫶🏻

Loved it! Thanks Natalie. particularly the way you played with time. Late Brahms can be pulled around and relaxed into so much, and you did it with great taste and sensitivity. It'll take even more than that in places - but I should be grateful: it's rare to feel that a pianist has truly connected with these extraordinary intermezzos, and I get that you have...

Truly beautiful artistic playing. You know how to get just the right sound from a good piano. The way you play reminds me of Lupu at his best. I wish you every success.

One of my all-time favorites played with great beauty and emotion! I hope you're learning the rest of Brahms' Op. 118--in particular, I'm willing to bet your interpretation of the Romance in F, Op. 118, No. 5 would be breathtaking!

So very talented! I was wondering, though, on measure #30, the left hand--maybe my hearing is not good, but it seems like a note is amiss.
@philippkayser19066 жыл бұрын
After watching your video I immediately had to learn this wonderful piece. But I think you made a small error at 0:39. In the repetition the chord for the right hand is (E,B sharp,E) instead of (E,C sharp,E), which gives it a slightly dissonant touch. Anyway, your interpretation is absolutely wonderful! :)

3:25 played a C# instead of printed D in the top voice. Oddly enough it didn’t really sound bad; I thought you were just doing something weird with the voicing at first.
