Liv has the unlimited funds but no experience in tournament television production and presentation. It took the PGA 70 yrs of trial and error to achieve their tight broadcasts. You didnt realize how good their production value was until you watched LIV try to pull it off. That's why their viewership was pitiful. Between the enormous kitty from the Saudis and the PGA's experience in television tournaments, I'm really hoping that the product can be even better after all of the messy details are worked out.

"All about the money", to me, means that the massive money from the Saudi's is an unstoppable force. It doesn't have anything to do with the Saudis needing to profit from golf. It was caused by Jay Monahan stupidly reaching out to all the governing bodies and vendors in the golf ecosphere to enlist them in his effort to strangle the LIV baby in the crib, thereby creating the specter of a classic “combination in restraint of trade,” which is an antitrust violation. If he had stuck to merely terminating the tour memberships of those who defected he might have had an arguable legal position. When he involved others, the Tour was legally dead in the water. It was going to lose and so they settled.

If the PGA decides to try and "Fine" those individuals the whole thing will fall apart. Monahan is the individual along with Brandel that may lose their job. The PGA tour was being sued for Anti-Trust violations and collision with the media, sponsors and courses to prevent any LIV coverage and events. The PGA was going to lose those lawsuits. One major sponsor admitted that Jay asked him to not invest within LIV...2 weeks later the deal was done...following the money is exactly what the PGA did...and to save their business.
