I’m going to go with the killing of Combo. That leads to Jane’s downfall and death when she stays to comfort Jesse, and the consequences of that. It destroys their own business, leading directly seeking out Gus as a distributor, and then is the start of the end of a pretty solid relationship with Gus for both Walt and Jesse when Jesse figures out it was Gus’ men behind it. The stupidest thing about this series is the viewers who really think in all seriousness that Walter is the worst here character. Mike who kills people to order. Do you think he comes home after another "job" and tells his family about what he did? And maybe Skyler is a saint who decided to launder Walter’s money? And maybe Jesse is a saint who has been part of Team Heisenberg since the beginning? Oh well of course let's justify him constantly because he has emotional problems. This show is terrific in that way of showing the absurdity and stupidity of people’s estimates. Walter, who killed many bad guys to save himself and his family from prison, is a villain? Kind of weird for a bad guy. Even weirder - if Walt is a monster, why did he save Jesse and why did he cancel the order in this episode? I can't justify what he did to Brock, but he even left him alive. And if you remember what happened before the situation with Brock - he was taken to the desert and threatened to eliminate his children. It's not an excuse, but it's what makes him better than Mike, Gus, and Jesse.
@gerardfonzАй бұрын
I agree 100%. For all he knew, Walt was a goner if he didn’t let Jane die. We saw him struggle with that. The coin toss meant he had to kill crazy 8 but he didn’t want to but had to cause crazy 8 would stab him with glass. He ran over and killed 2 men to save Jesse. Then it was him or Gale. Then he had to kill Gus to save himself. Poison to Brock was carefully done to prevent harm. Mike leaving without divulging prison threats forced Walt to eliminate Mike. Maybe bad judgement there. But he needed the names didn’t get them so it was clever to oust their boss.Then the prisoners to save being named. Point is he never killed out of hate. He pretty much had to do it all especially when he got on Gus bad side. I blame it all on the schwartz couple. Walt would’ve been able to beat cancer and provide if it hadn’t been for Gray Matter, hence the finale.
@playonesong5430Ай бұрын
Why was Hank in the desert? Jesse's brilliant plan. Walter did everything to stop Hank (threat, "confession", hid money). It was all aimed at making him stop and not follow him. It's safety for everyone. Just think about it. Hank, Homey, Andrea... everything would be fine. But Jesse shows up and as usual, everything goes to hell. Like in the story with Gus. Walter's biggest mistake was doing business with this fool. Another thing that pisses me off about this story is Marie. How stupid. She was pushing her husband to catch the dangerous Heisenberg. What was she even thinking? The shoplifter suddenly started lecturing

How is she not? It's a great performance. I'm bit of a manic and I see so much of myself in her character.

How can Arianna keep her head up with such a huge brain? Fun reaction! Scary to think that people like Jack and his crew are becoming more prominent of late.

The series shouldve ended with Ozymandias. The last 2 episodes were superfluous. The Sopranos has "Pine Barrens" Mad Men has "The Suitcase" The Wire has "Middle Ground", but.... Ozymandias tops them all, the greatest episode in American television history.

MUAHAHAHAHAHH ahem... The end of this show....will be the best you ever feel for the rest of the series. Jesse comes in clutch, Yet AGAIN... And get's absolutely no respect. Seems like a pattern here. Hank and Gomez don't give a shit about him, except for what he can do for them. At least Walt had an affection for Jesse... Hank and Walt....two peas in a pod. They ARE the same kind of asshole. Maybe not victims...but something....of their own hubris... It's kinda odd, but i have a stronger dislike for Hank then Walt. Maybe 'cause he's a cop....Maybe 'cause he's on the "right" side.... Maybe my own subversive nature.... meh

Do y'all think Walt overlooking the existence of a GPS on the truck is a plot hole considering he was a stickler for details like that?
@syabri2342Ай бұрын
He's a stickler for details but he's not immune to panic, and he's very much panicking here
@John_Locke_108Ай бұрын
Yes, it's a plot hole. No way in hell would he have rented the truck without verifying that the truck didn't have GPS. But whatever, I never thought about it too much. The show needed to end eventually so this season is all about Walt's luck running out
