Great job again. Johnson beetle spins have been around for a long time now. The variety of jigs available on the interweb are endless. You've grown since I started watching
@FishYanker Жыл бұрын
Yes. I love to customize the beetle spins they can be deadly at times. I've been posting videos for almost 2 years now, and the channel is really growing fast here lately. I appreciate you watching Chris

Glad you tube popped up your channel! Immediately hit sub. Hey where ya at in AR? I'm in Ft. Smith and sure was hoping for this kind of action last weekend but our son and I barely saw a minnow or any activity in Vine Prairie park off the Ar. River...but then again it was still below freezing that morning when we left the house. We got 3 days of warmups coming...we are both gonna play hookey and go again Monday (finally warmer morning and almost 80 in afternoon) Just ready for some action!!! Beetle Spins, Mepps, and very little swimbaits usually work well around here from Spring to late fall. Anyway, thanks for the vid. Encouraging to see some action!
@FishYanker2 жыл бұрын
Yes sir. I appreciate you watching. I try to catch them when I can. The water warms up and then it'll cool back down just like you're talking about. I am in eastern Arkansas around the Cache River and White River area. lots of different areas to fish. Cache River is got everything muddy right now. The White River keeps coming up and it's got stuff kind of messed up also and yes the water is still cold 56° right now where I'm fishing. The Fish are barely biting right now but I'm trying. I am definitely ready for the spawning season. Good luck to you guys Monday.

What size do you recommend 1/16oz or 1/8oz
@FishYanker2 жыл бұрын
1/16 Oz is what I use most of the time on beetle spins and jig head hooks. If they are not biting really good I will use a 1/32 ounce jig head hook and fish slow.

I did put a nut and bolt with rubber gaskets because it was at the back of the boat under the seat and would not stick up in my boat but I have patched pretty good size holes in a boat with JB weld and I agree 100% works. Great tip

Great video as usual. For small curly tails, I like the one inch Mister Twister grubs. I feel they're good for all panfish. I notice you always use a gold blade. Do you ever use a silver blade?
@FishYanker2 жыл бұрын
Thank you I will have to try them grubs out and yes sir I do use silver blades.I just prefer the gold the most.
